There are brobably a lot of you who read the same comix as I do (Penny Arcade, Megatokyo, Exploitation Now, littlegamers, & RPG World, to name a few. I may be wrong, but it seems to me that almost all of them update on Monday & Wednesday. Why is this? Why can't some of them update on Tue. & Thur. so we'd have something to read on those days as well?
Silly, I agree, but, I do find it curious.

Everybody whose anybody knows that Monday and Wednesday are the days to update. Tuesdays and Thursdays are for squares.
OK. So I did Tuesday and Thursday for a while, but that was when I was Bi-Weekly. Now I'm Tri-Weekly and I do Mon, Wed, Fri. I do this for no special reason at all.
Pauly
------------------

Here's another couple of curious questions;
Why, once a month, do my hits go up 10 fold when every thing else stays more or less the same?
And why are half those who visit my site using Micro$oft Internet Exploder?
------------------

It's a Keen thing? They can fiddle with the Webalyzer like that? I knew it was a joke, but I figured it was from the Webalyzer people, seeing as how Webalyzer is free and (maybe) open-source and therefore runs counter to everything that the illustrious Mr. Gates stands for.
Or maybe not.

I can't answer question one without looking at your logs. It depends on which stat is spiking. Hits only? Probably a file being deep-linked someplace. Page loads? A couple of folks maybe did a research project out of your archives. Visits? Sounds like you got referred by somebody bigger than you.
Question two is easy. Netscape Navigator has not only lost the technological edge, it has been blunted to the point of being crippled compared to the latest version of Internet Explorer. I'm not a Microsoft fan, but I use Explorer exclusively. It's a more stable, more robust, and better supported tool. 70% of the page loads web-wide are executed from IE.
------------------

It's just the hits, and it happens on a random day each month. Spiders, perhaps?

And a neat accidental thing with Opera is that keen* ads for some reason don't show up on Opera. That one had me scratching my head for a while. Well, I'm using Internut Exploder right /now/ because I'm at work and they got annoyed the last time I installed new software on my work computer, but at home I use Opera. If I wanted to be funny I could've said I used Lynx to read webcomics, though! :>
