I sent off this e-mail yesterday, never expecting to get the reply that I did:<P>------------------------------------
A while back I signed up for gear.keenspace.com by "The Site Mechanics". As the idea for what I want to do has grown, I'd wonder if it'd be possible to change it to unofficial.keenspace.com by "The KeenSpace Group". You may have read <A HREF="http://"http://www.keenspace.com/forums/Forum1/HTML/000168.html"" TARGET=_blank>the thread</A> on the Help forum a while back about 'Spacers who are willing to help out with the running of KeenSpace. I can understand that you might not be to keen on the idea of giving people you don't know access to the 'Space server, so I'm suggesting that we have an unofficial KeenSpace page run by a few of us (Chris Chobotor, Steve Tonks, and StrRedWolf are the others I'd suggest at the momment) that'd have news, random artist profiles, over/re-views of the comics, as well as what I've mentioned before; a place to host all the dropdown scripts, newbox images, FAQs, links to FTP clients, image editing software, etc.

The only problem I can see is that there's stuff on the 'Space site that you can't acess until after you're a member, so what would we do (for example) if we wanted a FAQ for the tags or storyline dropdown? There's four possible solutions I can see: 1) We don't have them at all (rather not do that tho'), 2) a security code system on the unoffical site, 3) those pages are sent to you to put into members.keenspace.com/ (so they come under your security system), or 4) we just upload them and hope for the best (don't think you'd be to happy about that one).

If it's a no-go, let me know, thanks.
