Just had to say that it sounds like a fantastic idea. I have no idea how to do it, though.
Paul
------------------
Any artist can call their piece "Untitled", but there's only one <A HREF="

It is. I'll look into it, seeing as I started the whole dropdown ball rolling
------------------

I think the Keen-ites should clean up the currently useless list of comics, first.
Not a rag, just a fact.
Case
------------------

I took a sneaky peek at how big panda does it, but they use a cgi program, this means that it may not be possible to do this for ourselves, but I am currently looking for ways to do this similarly in javascript.
------------------

On ecartoonists@egroups there was a long thread about designing a comics link site that would include this "recommended if you like" type technology. Josh Hughes of Avalon seems to be the prime mover. I haven't heard how it's going lately. The discussion was around August if you want to search the archives. There was a lot of discussion about how to do the RIYL stuff as well as issues of categorizing and ratings and other controversial topics... and the intent was to be comprehensive (all webcomics rather than just, e.g., Keenspace comics).

------------------
