Just posting this heads up in the general discussion in case no one's checking out my message board. The comic is on schedule and will be online starting Monday, October 9th. I have a special preview comic that will be up this Wednesday, September 20th. So please check out the site and the comic and let me know what you think. Feel free to email me or posting in my forum would be very nice

Dude! I checked out your site, and I can't wait to see the demo strip. Love the character designs and the concept--good clean art, easy-to-navigate site...
My only complaint: the title and links take up my whole screen, and I have to scroll down to get to the strip/characters/calendar. Is there some way you can (sorry) shrink the title or reposition it so lazyasses like myself don't have to scroll?
--BJ

The title and buttons too big, you say? Hmm...well let's see what everyone else thinks. Anyone else out there think I should shrink down my title/menu? Or is everyone cool with the way it is? In any case you people are still gonna have to scroll down some to see everything. Sorry, that's just the way it is. I recommend one of those mouses with the scroll-wheel thingie like I have. They rule!
------------------

From looking at the page, I can't wait to see the comic. Question... how do you deal with graphics, yes they kinda' are big, but nice and clean, how do you do it?
------------------

I like the big title. It's kind of like the lead-in, like the 20th Century Fox searchlights or the MGM Lion.

------------------

`But I don't want to go among mad people,' Alice remarked.
`Oh, you can't help that,' said the Cat: `we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad.'
`How do you know I'm mad?' said Alice.
`You must be,' said the Cat, `or you wouldn't have come here.'

How do I get those nice clean graphics? By magic! And a magician never reveals his secrets.
Seriously though, the title/menu is actually a Flash animation, so it's in that nice smooth vector graphic format. The characters were done the same way my comic is done. Draw it, scan it into Paint Shop Pro, clean it up, open it in Adobe Streamline to make it a vector graphic, import into Adobe Illustrator to add color (and lettering for the comic), then save for web as a gif file. That's it. Ah, the magic of Adobe. Gotta love it.
------------------
