I'm down with the whole Icebreaker thing, but I'm kinda sick of reading all the messages on this board. So... once everything's all nice and figured out concerning what we're doing and when we're doing it, give me a buzz. My address is in the signature.
------------------

Don't sweat it. Way too many people think I'm a chick. A lot of people don't realize that "Capheine" is pronounced "kaa-FEEN" (like the stuff in coffee) and not "SAY-feen".
------------------

I think that's the first time I've heard about a sex change operation as being the LEAST complicated choice.
------------------

Yeesh. Maybe I should just get a sex change. That would make all this a lot less complicated.
------------------

I've read it Caffeine. I thought it was a clever wording but the letters seem to float around and re-arange themselves into "Stephanie?" Is this just a really specific case of dyslexia or does anyone else find the name feminine? No offense...
Just trying to discover why the deuce we have this problem.
------------------

Let's go over names that end with an "E" though. I think they're mostly feminine, no?

quote:
Originally posted by Capheine:

But dammit! "Capheine" isn't androgynous! If my handle was "Caffeine", we wouldn't have a problem, right? "Capheine" and "Caffeine" are PRONOUNCED THE SAME WAY! Bleh...
The good thing about getting genders messed up is that when I don't like someone and they think I'm a girl, I just go ahead and let them think that. I've had dudes hit on me before on IRC and ICQ solely because of my handle. I think it's kinda funny.
I've had this handle for at least 4 years now, and I'm not giving it up any time soon
------------------

Thats nothing! I was talking to someone online that I hadn't met in person yet, they knew my name was Joe, and yet for some reason unbeknownst to me, they STILL thought i was a girl! Hm, maybe it was my barbie doll collection that threw them off--i mean... ummm, err, i dont-- i mean, my SISTER'S barbie doll collection.

------------------
