Now I feel stupid

I was just on the phone with the church where we're having my grandfather's funeral. I was leaving a voicemail to let them know which hymns and psalm we wanted and before I could say any of those facts, I couldn't speak or inhale much and started coughing violently, like, it felt like there was a toenail clipping in my throat or something. I apologized and had to hang up mid-message I drank some water and waited a few minutes and then called back, just keeping my voice very gentle though I could feel it ticking up again, but at least time I got the whole message out. This poor dude is gonna have the grossest message on his voicemail

And now I"m scared it's going to happen while I'm doing one of the funeral readings.....

So,
I moved half way across the country to be in the most beautiful and liberated part of the USA (Colorado. *In my opinion only), but all my dearest friends are still on the east coast (and Happy, much to my chagrin). Though I love it here, I miss them so much, for their mean jokes, their fearlessness in the face of appearance, and their tough-love (everyone is really fucking nice over here, damn). But, I'm really glad this forum is here. Even though I may not post much, I lurk. Y'all are awesome and goofy and stable (in a locality sense, lol). Thanks for whatever, y'all are great.
