What's with all the spam?

I've never seen so much in one forum. What's going on? Does anyone moderate comments around here? (I'm new-ish to the boards.)

No idea. Whatever happened it was literately in the thousands. When I did a backup before and compared it to the backup after, the "after" was 20% less. I'm still done done either.
