I have a tendency to dream that I can fly

Usually by performing some sort strenuous act - like rhythmically pushing with my guts. When I do fly, I seem to enjoy going very high up in the sky, and although it scares me a little everytime, I seem to enjoy it like a taboo. However, that's not what bothers me the most. What does bother me is that everytime I fly, there always seems to be a thick web of power lines I have to go through before I get really high. I'm scared to touch them because I think I'll get electrocuted. Last night I dreamed I was flying around the neighborhood and I got stopped by a lady cop because flying is dangerous and very tiring and I could pass out. I couldn't care less, but I eventually came down and she took me home, and was debating whether to tell my parents or not. She was kinda cute and I had the place to myself at the time, but that's a different story.

I used to have flying dreams pretty often. Well, I don't know if "flying" is the right word. It was more like being stuck in the air. Just sort of bouncing around. Haven't had one in a while though.

The weirdest part was when I first started having them I sucked at getting around. I couldn't control where I went and would just drift around out and crash into stuff. But the more often I had them the better I got at it, until I could angle my bounces to get where I wanted to go.

They were probably some metaphor for not feeling in control of my life.

Or fear of not being able to get boners or something, dreams are weird.

Frued would say you want to have sex with your mother. But he'd say that about a lot. Bit Freudian, that guy

I sometimes dream that I can sail like a seagull, but only one meter or so above the ground. Still I get to places much faster.

Oh, I've had a dream like that too. The higher I went the slower I'd move.

Had Mario dreams the other night. Blue coins haunt me.

In my dreams I don't fly I just jump really far. It's kinda awesome. It'd make an awesome super power. Flying is more practical, but less fun. Like that rediculous bit in Hulk.

Once every time I landed wolves would try to attack me but I roared at them and they ran away. I'm good at roaring even when I'm not dreaming.

The night before last I was at the olympic stadium and I was meant to be doing loads of sports but because I was ill I just wandered round all night. No secret meaning there, I'd been watching the olympics whist ill.

One Christmas we got Casper for the Playstation and everyone in the house ended up playing it far too much (we're a puzzle loving family) till my mum and I both ended up spending an entire night dreaming we were trying to solve some unsolvable puzzle and have never played it since.

And I dreamt I could swim everywhere too. Really quickly. Even when there wasn't any water. I can't remember if I was swimming through the air or the ground.

I've found that when I dream I'm flying, if I take off from the ground, I can't get back down. All I can do is keep going higher and higher. Every time I try lowering myself gently, I wind up freefalling. Then I wake up kicking and screaming and sodden with perspiration. Or, something like that. Damned Ambien...

I had the jumping dream once but now I usually just fall to my death.

The other night I dreamt I was learning to float, similar to how they do it in Peter Pan, where you just get the hang of not being effected by gravity. It was fun.

Bah, I could see the wires.
