Hey

Any word on meet-ups this summer? Or did I miss the 2012 Cook-Out already?

If anyone's interested I'm going to the Kingdom Hearts 3D launch event at Nintendo World with some friends just to hang out, be in the scene, get some street pass, take some photos.

No, there hasn't been a cookout yet. Nor does it look like there's going to be one this year, it seems. I'm open to doing a meet-up between August 25-30. It could be here, it could be there, it could be anywhere in the USA that someone lives near and knows.

EDIT: Granted a passport would be necessary for Canadian travel, but that is probably doable as well.

Well, anyone who's going to be in Toronto around the end of August could come hang at FanEx.

Anyone else going to Gencon in Indianapolis this year?

Well if anyone wants to chill at a coffee shop or grab a pint and draw in Los Angeles hit me up.

Really Toxic? I thought you were San Francisco for some reason. There's really no excuse as to why we don't chill sometime.

I'm from SF originally but I defected to the south a few years ago. Good memory that you remembered that! For sure on coffee, I will get in touch when my schedule is less hectic after this summer.

I was there last year for like half of a day on the way to Wisconsin for my little brother's college graduation. I am sure I will make another trip sometime in the relatively near future to visit extended family and just because it's so darn lovely. Meetupgasm!

Is there any more interest of this? I was thinking maybe we could have a meet-up Aug. 25 or 26 in Chicago, now that I know someone in this community is there (and Yeahduff at that!). We do, after all, seem to be running out of time for a Cookout in 2012. Any later than say, October, and the cookout would have to come to Florida or the southern US almost out of necessity.

If you guys were to ever meet up within a day trip's journey from Cinci area, I could totally be down for a meet up. Alas, we have but a few bucks Canadian in our vacation fund until Mrs. Bunny finds more gainful employment and we can actually start saving money again.

I try to do a yearly pilgrimage to Cincinnati. I'll let ya know when I'm in town.
