1990 puts me in junior high school.
And now you can never post again, lest your birthyear become more and more recent until you experience unbirth! Then death.

I had just gotten my NES, and I was playing Super Mario Bros and Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers in the basement on an old tube-based TV.

Wow, I remember when you were a doe eyed noob now you run this town like Tony Montana.
In 1990 I was 11 going from 5th grade (elementary school) to 6th grade in middle school. That whole era is a blur. Everything from Jedi to phantom menace all got smooshed together.

I was 10, still living leisurely in my home city in Bosnia, spending all my allowance on kindersurprise, hustling my elders to buy me some lego, drawing some awful comics that are thankfully not saved, generally reading incredible amount of comics (mostly Disney, Asterix, Lucky Luke, Spirou, Smurfs...), sitting at the back of the playground daydreaming while most of other kids played sports.

I was 8, doing karate, spending my time with friends, not yet aware I could draw.

You know, I remember watching C&D, but I think we must have had one of those videocassette episodes because I have a pretty clear memory of only one episode.

But deep down in your heart... you knew.
Waitasec- am I the youngest regular around here?

I remember a few years ago we had a handful of kids in their teens, where'd those fuckers get to???
Meh. That's okay, less highschool drama to deal with on the forums.
*sadly climbs back into cradle*

It's either that, or only post once a year.
But too late for that now, isn't it? Pretty soon we'll have to kick you out for being a minor.

Much less interesting than it sounds. Mostly I was making a character-by-character ripoff of any french comic or saturday morning cartoon that I liked at the time.
Now, later when I started drawing a detective who had a long blond hair and for some reason a sailor's hat, oh yeah and a talking car and a mary sue sidekick - now that was more interesting.

I was 9, watching the goings on in Eastern Europe with WAY more interest than any sane 9-year-old should have had.
