last year's thread for reference

Rules are the same as last year:

People wanting to participate may enter any/all of the following:
~ONE female
~ONE male
~ONE thing (genderless or unclassifiable)
from each comic they have. So if you have "The Poop Comic," you can enter one male, one female, and one thing, and if you also have "The Lumpkin Comic" you can enter one of each from that as well. Obviously, you don't have to enter one of each, but you do have the OPTION to do so.


Each entry must include the following criteria:

[Must be pictures:]
-The character in formalwear
-The character in swimwear

[May be EITHER in text or illustrated (comic) form:]
-The character's special talents/skills
Answers to the following questions:
-If you had 24 hours to live, starting now, what would you do with the time?
-What's something you wish more people knew about you?
-How would you describe yourself in three words?

***All of these above criteria must be met in order for the entry to be qualified!***



Post your entries within this thread! Entries must be received by June 9th. Then I'll make a separate thread for voting which will stay open for a week, and then the winners will win and the losers will be incinerated.


Other important things to keep in mind:
1. The characters you enter MUST belong to webcomics that already are running, not concept art, and not from dead and abandoned comics. (If your comic is on hiatus, characters are still qualified for entry, as ideally this might prompt you to end said hiatus after all!)

2. When posting entries here, make ONE POST for EACH character, and ONE character for EACH POST. Don't put all your characters from The Poop Comic all in one post- it'll make things much easier for me if you give each character their own special squishy little post.

I would like a judge rule on Robot. I always refer to "him" as a "he" though technically "he's" and "it" so does "he" go in the Mr or Thing Catagory?

Might not enter him this year anyway. Might not have time for anyone but my Mrs entry given what I've just planned for it. But I'd like to know anyway.

Basically, if the robot's appearance is human-male enough to be considered "sexy" to human standards, then he's eligible for the Mr. category.
But already something like Bender from Futurama, I'd consider him more fitting for the "thing" category.

It's a bit of a blurred line, and i'm sure you can find characters that may be OK in both categories, in that case it's up to the author's judgment.

I'd say it's up to you.

I wont use robot this time then. If I choose to next time I imagine he should go into the Mr catagory.

Finished my Formalwear outfit today, tomorrow I should begin working on my Swimwear entry that way I can enter even if I can't get the comic to go along with the questions done in time.

I've always wanted to participate in this, but I don't have any recurring characters. Maybe I this could be an excuse to start a new comics.

You could enter that clown thing you have as an avatar It's recurring! And it updates consistently!

Hmmm, I could always try, just got to choose which of the characters from the Volet to take.
Maybe I'll stick with Timmy's team and add "Slib" as the Thing.

Hmmm... I may enter this. If only as an excuse to draw one of my boys in formalwear. >_>
Depends on if I can fins time to do it before the deadline.

A. Probably surf most of the day and then spend the night on the beach with my girlfriend, hopefully we'd get to watch the sunrise together.

A. I can actually cook quite well but I buy takeaway because Doc never cooks when it's his turn.

Q. How would you describe yourself in three words?
A. Lives to surf (although Storm suggested "cute surf chick").
