Re: What made YOU happy today?
My boss just gave me the nod for my proposed leave dates. I've already booked my flights from Germany to LA and back, and the flight from LA to Seattle and back. I even booked my hotel room at a nice and cheap hotel, the Warwick, just a few blocks from the Washington State Convention Center.BrownEyedCat wrote:Ha! Ladies and gentlemen, I am going to the Child's Play Charity Dinner.
BEC? Would you like to be my date?

Thanks for the outpouring of D'awwww. We're very happy.

A couple of months ago, around the start of the summer. It's his third hairstyle...ever. (Although that may be common with guys? No idea.) It was a big deal. We took pictures.MariaAndMichelle wrote:When did Stinky cut his hair?

I'm having trouble finding any information about the date/location/cost of the Charity Dinner this year - the official website doesn't seem to have been updated since January.

No, not that. It's just an abreviation od his handle.peterabnny wrote:Oh, I get it; some questions are best left unasked...Laemkral wrote: You best respect the StinkyWigFiddle
That may be true. I never changed hairstyle in my life, only ever adjusted it to be appropriate to my age. I change my look by changing glasses or wearing ties or something, but I'd feel awfully weird if I changed my hair style. It's his third hairstyle...ever. (Although that may be common with guys? No idea.) It was a big deal.

Re: What made YOU happy today?
Partly because of my job, and partly because I like it better this way, I cut my hair a lot shorter than I used to. I've only really had a few hairstyles, and this is the one I find I'm happiest with. Nice and short on top, a fade on the sides to skin. Easy, quick, and if I need to I can do it myself. Now, if only I didn't need to cut it every two weeks.

Can do. I'll try and work it into my travel day to San Diego, stop in your neck of the woods for lunch. Just need to renew my CA driver's license as soon as I'm back...Phact0rri wrote:if you got some free time when you are here let me know we can grab a drink or something laem

I'm going on vacation for a week starting tomorrow! I'm not going anywhere exciting, but I am looking forward to not going to work for a week.

I will have my Dress Blues (for the Charity Dinner), but that seems a little overdressed for lunch in LA.McDuffies wrote:If Laem comes in his uniform, you two should make quite an impression on passers-by.if you got some free time when you are here let me know we can grab a drink or something laem
