*hugs* one of my friends was diagnosed with it about a year and a half ago. Glad she was released from the hospital. Thanks, everybody! 
She's doing a lot better. She has a doctor's appointment on Monday, to make sure she's doing fine outside of the hospital. After that, they'll set up her follow-up treatments (roughly one week per month for the next five months). And then hopefully we can put the whole stupid thing behind us.

About a week ago me and my girlfriend of just short of a year split up after I discovered her internet dating ad. I thought I was in serious trouble, suffice to say I usually get down kinda easy, and I figured I was headed for a depression the likes of which havent been seen since my early teens. Plus, along with starting the month badly financially, and with my summer vacation almost over, I should be stressed out, and running around tearing out clumps of hair. I've never been happier, more confident, or completely undepressed in my life. I even scored a number today, and I've never gotten a number off a stranger before, like, ever. I don't know what it is, but fuck life is good right now.

Finally finished setting up my new office (and if I never have to put together another piece of furniture I'll be great) so finally I can get down to business

Huh, it seems when one Genner gets out of the hospital, another goes in. As people who paid attention to the camwhore thread might know, I broke my right elbow (among other things) and had surgery on it Thursday last week. Finally got released yesterday and it feels so good.
