I use a ruler for penciling, especially when there are multiple vanishing points. But I never use a ruler when inking, as I think it adds more character. It could be construed as being sloppy, but oh well.

I'm with Smiley. I love drawing action because you can exaggerate proportions slightly and get away with it. If you're going for a regular tame pose, it is easy to see your lapses in proportions.

you don't use any sort of rulers? from some of the art I've seen of yours... mainly the new comic stuffs your planning you got a mighty still hand. I don't use a ruler for anything but boy can you tell.
however not using a ruler for me is mostly due to lazyness.. and even when setting up panels my ruler lines arn't straight.

Nope, no rulers, period. Not even when penciling. It's been well over a year since I last used a ruler when drawing. Can't stand 'em.
