So there, do fi13r's comic, I didn't want to hear it anyway...I kinda got ripped apart last time. :D

I'd do it, but I like your comic, and don't have much time now.

That is, if you even know it's out there, you being this cool popular comic and all . . . . bleh.

(Having read a few more of Yarps' comics)

Nice style - I retract the other stuff.

Love the background on the site. It shows a sharp wit.

Could stand a little work on perspective - especially the "bird's eye view" shots. Other than that, few complaints.

Yah - don't judge a webcomic by it's index page.

Hey Yarps, I don't know if you noticed, but I actually did a review before Netrek. I noticed you didn't comment on it then which is a shame since I did actually read more than a page of your comic

sure I noticed.
did you read the whole thing?
(BTW, I didn't find any problem with #24 not displaying, maybe check again)

and I would have responded to it, but I wanted to include a review with the reply.
And unfortunately, I don't feel like reviewing your site- Everytime I go there, I get confused, and I don't know where to click to see something. I found some comic (or series art if you preffer) there, only because you linked to it in an other thread.
So my review would propably be completly wrong.

and I've already reviewed smoot in the webcomic below thread.

Hmn, my sites confusing? What throws you off: the big clickable white lettering that says "First Entry" and "Latest Entry"?

but I LIKE toilets! And you don't have to BE on Keenspace to be on the list!(that doesn't work) :(

Now, let's do a review of your site, shall we? Hmn.. Well the "Cannot find server" thing is rather off-putting, don't you think? :P

<A HREF="http://smoot.keenspace.com">SMOOT</A>

A wonderful comic. Doing wonderful with her theme of simplicity, heffaloop has chosen to do a text-only comic. Her wit and wisdom shine through with such gems as "DNS Error", "Cannot find server", and "The little red X". An absolute masterpiece to be sure.

I'm bored, but not enough to read through this whole thread again. I'm just going to critique Cinderblock and then stop, and I don't care if anyone wants to critique/slam TPR or not.

Cinderblock:...

I honestly can't seem to think of anything bad about it (trying to stick with the original theme of the thread)...except, one thing. The "anime-style" stuff, including Otoro, don't really have the anime look, from what I've seen. They don't look as realistic as the other characters, true, but they don't really strike me as being anime-ish, at least not unless it's being pointed out. I dunno. But I'm not a good judge of that, so don't take me too seriously.

Oh, also, I think Cinderblock really needs more link banners. Um...I'll work on that later. Maybe the weekend. I should have tried to finish before school started again, but I'm lazy.

Praise for Cinderblock: I love it. The characters are great, the art is great, the story is varied and intriguing, and the humor is quality stuff. I just wish it was daily. But whatever schedule Mr. Daiker prefers is fine. ^_^ :P Um...that's all I got to say.

Cindermain wrote: - The lawsuit storyline was a bit too cut-and-dried...I had no sense that it was that big a threat.
Yeah, unfortunately, I felt I wasn't doing the storyline much justice. (Got in way over my head with all the legal crap). So I did the wrong thing and tried to end it as quickly as possible. -_-;
Cindermain wrote:Sure, the legal ace was there who wrapped it up, but it was too quick. I would have liked to have seen some more to it...a few plot twists would have been cool. Dr. Lauren is an obvious poke at Dr. Laura. Why not play on the real Dr. Laura's situation with her real-life nude pics? See, we're glad the case turned out OK, but I only wish the bad guy had gotten a more thorough trouncing.
So do I! My lack of law skills has reared it's ugly head again. Although, for the new storyline in Chapter 4, Ming is back, so maybe Dr. Lauren will stick her head back into their business, and Auri can go shove some nude pics of her on the net or something. She doesn't seem like the type who just "goes away". And actually, Dr Lauren is a poke at both Dr. Laura and Martha Stewart, whom I both dislike visciously. >_< [/quote]
Cindermain wrote:- You won't tell me how you get those PERFECT SPEED LINES!!! I simply cannot do that yet! PM me, PLEASE!!!! :D
PM is on it's way, but the secret is: I cheat. ^^
