I'LL GET NAKED!
Caught in the headlamp glare of your own blinding vanity/Mesmerised by the stare of your shallow personality
Gorging the junk food of flattery you drag your fat ego around/Everyone floored by the battering you give to whoever's around
Oh Narcissus you petulant child admiring yourself in the curve of my eyes/Oh Narcissus you angel beguiled unsated by self you do nothing but die

For some reason I thought there was more time to get together money.

I just got paid, so in a couple of days I'll have my share, at least.

I won't get naked, but I'm always glad to volunteer my characters to do a striptease for dollar bills. They have no shame. Also, no undies.

You dumbass.
Looks like someone missed the train. That's what I expect from a boob with a dog on his head.
It's a long slow train. You're still a dumbass.

We have more than a week left, though. Let's see what we can do!
After I get paid on Monday I can kick in anywhere from $50-100. It's somethin'

I'm really really poor right now, otherwise I would've liked to chip in... :(

Anyway, I'm not sleeping until I have everything finished tonight.

I got your IMO page, which rocks! :D Now I just need the Doppies.

Other artists I'm still waiting on: Tenma and Col. You guys have until this weekend, but then I have to send this stuff on to Keenspot, ready or not! (To clarify: by weekend, I mean by the end of the weekend, or Sunday night.)

Edit: And now I have the Doppies' pages! :D

Good, glad it all came through OK.

I am mostly content with the inking on IMO, though I do wish I would've managed to grayscale-shade the page instead of doing pure black and white... but there was just no time after all the hours I already spent on it. (Especially considering this is the second IMO page I made for the book after I dismissed the first one as being buttugly.)

Since mostly everyone else has been posting their pages, here it is:

Image

:shifty: Yeah, it's not... but... yeah.

edit: Also, when drawing the movie posters on the walls, I didn't want to use existing movies so I came up with whatever first sprung up in my mind... Since I had just seen Sublet's FCBD page when drawing this panel, the poster in the third panel is inspired by End of Things (the title kinda reads like one of those search strings he must be getting). There is also a half-assed (or rather half-faced) 8:1 Charles with eligible letters above his head (you can see "VE", the title clearly contains the word LOVE which is weird since Charles is in it) on the poster in the middle. The first one is rather obvious...

Cortland - you didn't answer. How long do we have to rack up money for this project?

Also, how many ad spots do we have left?

Financial update:

Net: $1245.44

Kolter, I just finished sending in the rest of my money for a half page ad, and emailed off the graphic to Cortland, so, you should get an email about that. Hope that helps!

Hah! I was pointing out to my sister how good the inking is in the page before I read this comment >.> Don't be so modest! You did an awesome job. Love the posters, too (especially LWK.)
