I've been sharing it with everyone for the past couple of days.
as to blowing on a brass. all you need to do is pucker/purse your lips and blow.
I thought there was a specific technique involved. I've seen people who are brass player playing on an ordinary garden hose by using similar way of blowing.
"Sound of Silver" by LCD Soundsystem: Pretty good genre-bending album, combines folk, techno and punk. The song "Someone Great" is the best track IMO.
"Cross" by Justice: If you like Daft Punk you'll like them. The song "D.A.N.C.E." is especially addictive, its best known for being nominated for the MTV music video award a couple years ago.
"Van Lear Rose" by Loretta Lynn: Don't call it a comeback! It was a brilliant move on her part to change her sound to garage rock. Your move, Dolly Parton.
The entire "American" series by Johnny Cash. "Hurt" = perfection. "Personal Jesus" = hidden gem.

I thought Personal Jesus cover charted. It was actually Rick Rubin's idea...
<KittyKatBlack> You look deranged. But I mean that in the nicest way possible. ^_^;
Nickelback's popular but they get no respect, and justly. Empire State of Mind people act like there aren't already like a gajillion songs about New York City or something. I guess it got played at the Super Bowl or something, y'know that's a big deal.

which is odd, since JayZ clearly references Sinatra's "New York, New York".
