To answer to your question, with a lot of exageration, of course, I can recall the language from "1984" that purposefully erased some words from dictionary in order to erase those terms from collective mind.What? Democracy? I despise Cybersitter too, but I don't think it's done anything against democracy...
So if your cybersitter is prohibiting the use of the word "girls", we can conclude that whoever installed it, doesn't want you to be aware of the oposite sex at all.
Of course, that's an extreme comparation.
