I bought the first book to the Hitchhiker's series...in French. Not to read, just to have. I'm going to try and get a copy in every language of every country I visit. This means I need to hunt down an Arabic edition to cover down on Iraq.

I borrowed my car from my brother, and went on a little drive/shopping spree today. It felt awesome to get out and about.

Re: What made YOU happy today?
I have exactly twenty nine days left of this year. Would be a boo-hoo sort of a thing, but I need to GTFO of where I am right now. Also, figured out some plot lines for my comic, exercised, got enough sleep, did a lot of pondering.

Re: What made YOU happy today?
Class of Heroes on psp is a wonderful game. Probably my 2nd favorite psp title, right behind Project Diva (the Miku Vocaloids game.) Its an incredibly old school first person dungeon crawler, but with a hilarious Atlus translation and cute anime character sprites. The game could probably be done on the gameboy advance since there's like no animation other than the 3d grid based first person view, but its just so stupidly fun to run around and mess up monsters and unlock treasure chests with your team.

for a second I thought Lootmonies was an actual company you were working for. That would be a fantastic company name.MixedMyth wrote:I decided to not work for lootmonies today and instead work on my book. naughty of me, but I really need to get cracking on this manuscript! so hah!

What the? Troubling announcement, to be sure. I hope that whatever has gone down will see a full recovery in good time. If you'd like, he and I can start up a "Recent ICU Occupants" support group.Ekolter wrote:It's been a rough day...make that a week.

Hehe. He'll probably get a chuckle out of that. I made him giggle by telling him they played 'Operation' on him again. Also that this visit should be free due to with his 'frequent hospital vistors' card. He's kinda proud that he's got the bigger, cooler scar now. He was so jealous of me with my c-section scar. He also joked that the next time he hits Weight Watchers, he'll have a damn good weight lost to report. Gotta love the humor. Helps alleviate the stress of the situation.Bustertheclown wrote:What the? Troubling announcement, to be sure. I hope that whatever has gone down will see a full recovery in good time. If you want to send stuff, please send it to the house instead. He's in a shared room that's very small at Barnes Jewish Hospital in Saint Louis.
