I don't think I'm being unreasonable in presuming that a webcomic review should be more than five sentences. It's also not fair to the person that will review your comic because they're still expected to put some actual effort into it.

I didn't see anywhere on the thread where it stated a certain length, or even a certain agreed format was required for a review.

edit: I see now, there was a suggestion of 200 words per review, but as I note, it was a suggestion.

In any future review I make on the thread, I'll be sure that the review will be at least 200 words, however I see no need to change the current one unless a mod or the thread originator asks otherwise.

No, although earlier in the thread Dragonkingdoms was scolded by Net for posting too short of a review, and yours is even shorter than his was. This shouldn't need to be defined, though, as it's not a matter of following the rules, it's simply an issue of being courteous and respectful to axonite and whoever chooses to review your comic. It's the "do unto others..." principle at work here.

I gave a review, one I felt was honest, nice, and overall very pleasant. It was, for all intents and purposes, a gift.

If I participate in these things and all I hear is whining about it not being 'good enough', then forget it.

The idea isn't 'say a few nice things about my comic and get some nice things in return', it's about getting a full and useful review. The length suggestion really is there for a reason..

I almost jumped in and posted a link to my site for the review thread, but saw the note on comic length (try to shoot for around 25). I'm currently at 15 pages plus a "cover" image.

Is that too short to submit? If it is, I can wait until the next iteration of the thread comes around again.

In a word? Yes. But that's no reason why you can't go and ask for crit in the Techniques, tips and tricks forum! ^^

Oh, I'll write a review all right. I just haven't still decided on length.

that seems a little brief by mcDuffies's standards.
