Aw man, this one oughta be fun. All right, so what we have here is the one character I've had the longest, name of Pyro. He started as a superhero comic after I watched some Superman: the Animated Series way back in '98, '99-ish, when I was just a little fourth grader. He's been around a while.
This first one has both his superhero phase and "Holy crap I have mythical fire powers let's take the planet back from its tyrannical oppressors" phase. 4th through 8th grade (at this point in time I wound up doing about a remake a year... I don't have them all anymore, sorry).
Here's where he got fun to do. Pyro was, at this point, a universe-hopping soldier who, while fighting off an assassin, had somehow become lost between universes. His only option was to try and find his way home, picking up allies and facing challenges along the way. I liked this one since it let me play with how alternate versions of people would turn out. There's his superhero-ish form and his knight form here. 9th through 10th grade.
The first one is the same as above, just with a less superhero-y costume. The one on the right is the latest version, but with some changes. Now named Phyren Argius dem Resti, he is a soldier for the Greater Disarran Republic, exiled from his home universe for refusing to follow orders and burn down a village (including the innocent people in it) that had been linked with rebel forces during a time of war. His sympathies have changed, and he wants to get home to join forces with the rebels. 'Course, he needs to find his way out of the exile universe first. 11th grade to today.
