Just curious.

It's still a small number though. Like I said, Gianna gets 20k. I know RPGW used to get 90k (and same logging system so it's more comparable).

And there's quite a few big comics out there (20k plus).

I started hitting 300 regularly and got so nervous about hit-motivated homocide that I jumped into hiatus for half a year. That's right, I predicted this whole assasination ring. Now as you roll around in your 1,500, I quietly hide out and wait for the blood to stop flowing.

If you're hiding out quietly, no one can hear you scream....

Unless you do it loudly, of course.

Ugh. Sorcery 101 about the same age as me and it's got 5x as many hits as me. I seriously need to stop procrastinating and get on with the advertising.

Stupid... having to make... banner ads...

Getting links from other popular comics and websites works better than advertising. I don't get 1500 unique visits a day, but I do get 500 to 1000 and not much of that has been from my few advertising efforts. So in other words...find a comic maker more popular than you and kiss their butts!

Where did you advertise? It'd be educating to hear stories of bad advertising efforts.
Reportedly, some places are good for advertising provided that a) your banner is intriguing enough to make people click it b) your comic audience coincides with that comic's audience and c) that comic is popular enough in the first place.

i'm not sure when i passed the 1,500 mark, but it wasn't too long ago and my comic's 3 and a half years old.

Just noticed Reckless Youth is now in the top 50 too, Go Claude Go!
