Good God, I had no idea how good Dragon's art was. Glad I stumbled into this thread. Fantastic.lintjinks wrote:Yes, I agree! Thank you very much Komiyan, lintjinks and steverules ^__^
To answer your question, Komiyan:
I'm a compulsive hobby artist, and I have decided that's the best thing for me. I've had trouble in the past working under direction - not because of a resistance to authority or anything, I just loose motivation. Happened in highschool, I dropped out of (fine) art school for a number of reasons. Took me a year to get back on my artist-feet, and I love doing what I'm doing now.
Doesn't mean I wouldn't try gettings work published later, but right now I'm enjoying the utter freedom of self-direction

You could bet lots of money, however, that I'm going to try my best to convince her to turn this comic into a serial novel. :pdragonmajik wrote:Thank you very much Komiyan, lintjinks and steverules ^__^

Edit: GRAPHIC novel, not serial novel. Sheesh... stupid head. {wanders off with graphic symbols following behind him}

Not long enough, obviously.

AMAZING
The last time someone's art blew me away on first sight like this, is when I saw Athena Voltaire. I really love your artwork

Edit: I forgot to answer the thread's question. It takes me about 3 to 6 hours to draw the lineart and about 6 to 12 hours to colour.

You'll all hate me, but it usually takes me about an hour or two to do a week's worth of comics. Unless I'm building a new set, then it can take days or longer.
Also... dragonmajik... just read through ttg, holy crap... your art is just amazing.

.... My speeds vary a little too much for my comfort, but the last two times I drew comics, it took about two weeks to draw 22 pages, and the same amount of time to draw 24 pages plus a color cover (which is not on keenspace XD).
... hmm.. but I usually sketch about four to five pages a day, and then ink and tone three pages a day. ...so, uh, huh... what does this mean??

It means you're a lot faster than the rest of us (except Legostar, whom I now hate ^^), or have a lot more time on your hands.KODAMA wrote::'d...

Now then, I sure hope no one bests me, otherwise my accomplishment might seem meaningless and sad.
Dec '02 --> May '04
But then I didn't really disappear off the face of the internet during that time. I updated with sketches, so I'm not really a real lag.
