I get almost 100 a day now. I am happy with it seeing as Dunn Boys has been around only a month or so. I am also starting to do some guest strips so that should increase exposure.

Yep it should, guest strips and fanart are a good way for people not on the inside track to get hits. I usually plug people that send us fanart but sometimes I'm too lazy so I just post it on our fanart page and forget about it.

I seem to get in the range of 70 - 120 visitors per month. I don't know how that happened, because all I've done is spread the word of my comic. Then again, I'm pretty patient since I only get to drawing about 3 strips per month.

As of last night I just officially broke through the 400+ visits mark last night... sadly it's only per month... I was hoping per day.. but baby steps!!! I dunno.. I'm just really happy right now! So happy I'm gonna make some fanart later today! Not good stuff.. just the quick sketch funny stuff... Gah... I was just proud of hitting that mark and needed to brag.. sorry :(

Yeah, actually. I noticed that, too. I don't know if it was because I advertised more, or because July is just like that. Very strange. In fact, I got aobut 650 visits just yesterday. New record for me.

July has actually had the fewest visitors to my site than any other month since my comic started. This is mainly because the site was on hiatus until a few days ago. So my results really wouldn't fall under the same pattern as other sites that have been running consistently the whole time. D'oh!

Jeez. I don't even get that many visits in a month, much less a day. Although I am suprised at myself with the hits I've been getting recently-- my visit count for July was 531, blowing away my previous monthly record by more than 200. It's a miracle!

I'm not doing too bad, considering that my site hasn't really officially launched. We've got one comic up, but I put that up a while ago to see if it would work. So after about 3 weeks of nothing, 70 visits. Meh.

Mine probably went down for July because my computer went kablooie. But I'll check and see. Blah. Not that I have many visitors to begin with. If I did the comic just for the visits, I'd be one depressed gal right now.

Our hits for the July was pretty high, too. 300+ when I checked last. But now it's August.

I got about 1100 visits last month. At first I confused it with his and I was like "Holy hell?! 29,000 people came to this thing this month?!"

All in all, a good first 3 weeks.

July wasn't that bad of a month, I got double the visits of June but my average visits per day turned out to be the same as my other months. So I dropped about 10 visits when I went on hiatus without any warning for 4 months but they've never varied much from the 25 average. I can't figure out what's going on, since I've been updating regularly since May, maybe my comic just isn't interesting enough.

We should all just do comics for each other and distribute the hits.

Or not, whichever. August doesn't seem like a very... hit-full month. There's all that back-to-school stuff going on, and trips are ending, stuff like that.

Which means that bored teenagers are going to be sitting in classrooms, some with computers with access to the internet...

I can dream, can't I?

Actually, come to think of it, June was a better month for me.

I also realized that I updated more in that month. :D

Xd.. does the "hits" thing really mean anything anyway?
It seems everytime my main page loads I get an automatic 20 hits right there (i have a moderate amount of graphics on my main page)

counting by "hits" I get about 10240 hits a day.

But counting by VISITS....
now we are talking about individual computers VISITING,
and possibly READING the webcomic..

hmm.. let's see. I had a 142 visitors today. :d
