I don't think you "contract" Jaundice so much as just develop it when your liver packs in. Not sure though. You'd think I'd know that given I work on a Gastro ward these days, but I don't.Phact0rri wrote:only when I contract Jaundice

You don't contract jaundice, but Phact does. He's got the wild type gene.robotthepirate wrote:I don't think you "contract" Jaundice so much as just develop it when your liver packs in. I've been told that I'm fun and cool when drunk and kinda boring when sober. Dunno how reliable sources were...Phact0rri wrote:I am pretty cool cat when I'm inebriated.

Jaundice is a biproduct of many dieases and is not just about the liver... its the build up of tons of dead red blood cells. It can as easily be the liver as the pancreas or gall bladder. also babies get it often, I know I did.robotthepirate wrote:I don't think you "contract" Jaundice so much as just develop it when your liver packs in. Re: Livejournal Thread 4: Can't kill what's already dead ins
Technology sucks butt.
So excited to have this 500 gig harddrive, figured it would be really helpful to use while editing my senior project.
The joyful cheer is that it is formatted for PC, and I need to edit on a mac. I don't really have a choice except to reformat the drive. Which I'm doing now, but I feel bad because it's not my drive, it's my moms.
I mean, I guess we can always change it back later. But like... WHY??? WHY MUST THIS BE LIKE THIS??? YOU FUCKERSSSSSSS
at least i had the foresight to figure this out now as opposed to several hours into an editing marathon desperately trying to save my project

Uy, I don't understand anything. I forfeited because I couldn't reformat, and ended up saving everything, miraculously, to a suspicously empty flash drive i had in my purse.

Tell me about it, I had to deal with a virus this week. Nothing shows you how insanely dependent you are on technology like having it threatened.VeryCuddlyCornpone wrote:Technology sucks butt.

Sure when you yourself are ill you just need to ride out the worst of it then you can spend your time recovering on your comp.Terotrous wrote:Tell me about it, I had to deal with a virus this week. Re: Livejournal Thread 4: Can't kill what's already dead ins
Do you have someone in your life who is infuriatingly frustrating, but who is really fun and cool just enough of the time that you can't bring yourself to cut them out of your life? Like someone who just says or does things but is entirely oblivious to the fact that those things they say and do might be hurting or pissing off others? Or is really contradictory and sometimes hypocritical, but seems so sincere and naive that you really don't feel comfortable pointing out to them how illogical they seem, because it really seems like an honest mistake?

I'm with McDuffies. I've quit hanging out with people I like. My freetime is limited, so if I'm hanging with people, its people I actually want to be there with. And if people bother me, they don't get hung out with.

I'm very close to being able to do just that, but college situation makes it a little hairy to do so right now. After graduating I doubt we'll keep very much in touch, and everything will be jake.

Seems like both Phact and I are prone to typos, so now I'm "hanging put with people", whatever that means, while Phact only quits hanging out with people he actually likes.

Not a type-o. *pompous* It just happens that the people to be seen with in hollywood, are those people I can't stand. heh.McDuffies wrote:Seems like both Phact and I are prone to typos, so now I'm "hanging put with people", whatever that means, while Phact only quits hanging out with people he actually likes.
