Slowly but surely I am solving things that I find objectionable with my life!

And I am going to sleep tonight

I am going to sleep so hard

Then tomorrow

I'll wake up

but SCRIBBLENAUTS!
I got Scribblenauts for Christmas. I was so excited to start summoning things on other things! … But it was plagued by poor physics and most objects I summoned didn't do anything other than sit there (or worse, bounce around for no reason like a kid with ADD on a trampoline). it got old fast :(. Yahtzee's review about it was very apt.

I don't have to deal with a half-dead Christmas tree, since you can apparently throw them in the garbage!

"Harvey Birdman: Attorney At Law" for Wii, $5 at GameStop! NEW. Played through the entire thing in one long, glorious, hilarious sitting. Only downside, no Stephen Colbert (damn him for getting famous) voice acting. Otherwise, AWESOME.

*shrug*
It is kind of annoying when you make a house or something and can't go in it. I had a lot of fun with a teleporter I decided to summon out of frustration. Also stay the hell away from portals Image they make the most random evil shit that follows you around and kills you.

It's all in what you look for in a game I suppose. I spend about half my playing time just in the blank level making weird shit fight other weird shit. >_>

I think the thing that bothered me the most about it is supposed to be about creativity, but the more creative I get when trying to beat a level, the less likely it is to work. Also, most of the people you can summon don't do their jobs.

Like, in one level there is a bee that blocks your path. So naturally I summon a bee keeper. All that stupid idiot did was run away in terror and get stung to death. :( Worst. Bee Keeper. Ever.

I summoned a farmhouse, figuring it would get me past the tornado. At the very least I could hide in it while the tornado rolled past! No dice.

... Yeah, I'm not really cut out for puzzles.

see, the only thing tornadoes destroy more than farmhouses are trailer parks. what you should've summoned was a cellar

No no, you see - the tornado PICKS UP the farmhouse and you ride it to Oz! Where there are lots of Starites.

*cough*

Also, the grappling gun was pretty convenient for me.

I HATE THAT TORNADO! I tried the same thing with several different types of buildings. The only one I found that worked was "bunker"

Bunkers do solve a lot of problems. Well, not solve. More like, avoid.

Well, technically this all happened yesterday: I got some new comics (Amazing Spider-Man, X-Force, X-Factor and Captain America's long-awaited return), did ALL my laundry and got my new Wacom Bamboo Tablet. I realized, try as I might, that I won't be using it to ink scanned pencils (it just seems impossible to trace something on a screen while your hand is on a pad NOT on the screen). But at least it works with GIMP 2.0 and it came with it's own Corel Painter 4, so I'll be trying my hand at utilizing layers to give upcoming exterior space shots depth--or at least ease of coloring. :D

I solve most of my puzzles with a jetpack, a whale, and a hole in the ground. I crawled under the tornado... and yes I also tried the farmhouse and failed. :(

And I hear you about the people - seriously, I made a janitor in that one messy level and he didn't pick up shit.
Also we discovered yesterday that God is terrified of an active nuke and Ra is not.

I finished the guide I was working on for Tatsunoko vs Capcom: Ultimate All Stars! Now I can do something else!

Seriously, I got the game on Tuesday and I've played well over 30 hours already. I have a newfound respect for those who make guides for new games, even though this is not my first guide.

The game is actually quite fun though. Capcom's VS series is always awesome.

I HAVE INTERNET IN GERMANY!! AH HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

It only took 21 days since I came back from Iraq, but I finally have Internet in my apartment!! It is magical, it is wonderful, it is delightfully fast! I think I've gone so long without (Internet) that I want to sex it up all night long. Except I have work in the morning, so that sucks, but at least I can now be productive from home!!!

Though I still have no idea whats the deal with these ports in all the other rooms if I can't use them. This system is confusing and bewildering and I need Kwill to come visit just so he can explain it to me.

Probably depends entirely on your internet service. Not too familiar with it, really.
