Re: Time for a Revolution!!
I think part of the problem is that people have adopted Twitter and Facebook for instant-social-networking, and "general" forums everywhere suffer for it since 5 seconds of attention on twitter means you're seen by a few thousand people for... 5 seconds.Laemkral wrote: ANARCHY IN THE CG!!! We have no leaders (except for admins, and they hardly count) and so it's time for us to do that whole "democracy" thing and appoint someone as a pointless figurehead. I NOMINATE MYSELF AS HEAD OF THE REBIRTH GENESIS PARTY!!!
I know I keep getting a "friend" added every 4-5 posts, and I only post like every few days... about nothing interesting IMO.
As for president of GD... go ahead, but you'll have a problem getting votes if all you want is anarchy.

Actually, I'm running on the same platform that I've always in the past run on: totalitarian military dictatorship. I'm simply pointing out that a state of anarchy exists within CG for all figureheads of power have vacated the forums. I'm in no way in favor of anarchy as our forum's leadership style...mainly because it doesn't result in power being vested in me, which severely limits my ability to award myself medals and ribbons for things.Kisai wrote: As for president of GD... go ahead, but you'll have a problem getting votes if all you want is anarchy.

You'd be our first leader who doesn't draw and doesn't have a comic.Laemkral wrote:Actually, I'm running on the same platform that I've always in the past run on: totalitarian military dictatorship. That's why I say I'm the person best suited for the job! I won't have any artistic endeavors to distract me!!Nanda wrote:You'd be our first leader who doesn't draw and doesn't have a comic.Laemkral wrote:Actually, I'm running on the same platform that I've always in the past run on: totalitarian military dictatorship. In complete contrast to what I just said, here is my (very bad and very quickly done) first (and possibly only) contribution in terms of art:

God bless GIMP.

That's PRESIDENT Neko, to you. Respect the office, if not the account name.

I thought Claude nabbed the last election with his promises of hot air.Laemkral wrote:That's PRESIDENT Neko, to you. Respect the office, if not the account name.
EDIT:
Nevermind. The humidity is addling my brains and reading comprehension.

Re: Time for a Revolution!!
I remember that Claude won last election because he promised to draw a victory celebrating comic and then never came back.

I don't even know why we need another election. The military's already tossed Claude out. I say we ride the junta for a while and see where it takes us!
