Are we talking about actually being linked on a links page, or are we including links due to fanart, cameo... grind participation, that sort of stuff? Because there's a difference, IMO*.

So, these comics have IMO in their links section: Doppies (ha!), I'm always right, Green avenger, Steve and Mac... uh... that's it.

Comics that have linked / are linking to IMO for specific reasons: Penny & Aggie (fanart), Darken (lazy grind page), Strange happenings (cameo), 8:1 (fanart), Deep (cause I used to participate), Legostar Galactica (fanart), Angry D Monkey (cameo), Cortland (fanart and FCBD), Ugly girl (fanart), Once upon a time (fanart).

And these comics have Doppies in their links section: There's a civilization on my fork (this one must be new, didn't notice it before!), Playing with knives, Astorauth (hahaHA!), The Volet.

These comics have linked / are linking to Doppies because of stuff: Ugly girl (cameo), Strange happenings (cameo), Legostar Galactica (fanart), Cortland (cameo and FCBD), 8:1 (fanart), Once upon a time (fanart).

I'm not surprised that I'm not in many links section because I'm well aware that both comics are still quite new and unestablished, and I haven't encouraged people to link to me either, well, except for that I gave away fanart, but that was mostly for the fun of it.

Anyway, I have a strict policy to only put up comics on my links section that I enjoy and that I think my readers might enjoy, I won't link to someone just because they link to me. Some may think that's harsh and anti-social, but my links are supposed to be recommendations, and those have to come from the heart. I wouldn't want anyone to put me in their links section unless they really liked my comic.

Another reason is that I don't want to have a links section that's too crowded, because then the chance that someone will visit all the links is small, and then what good does it do? Therefore I only link to comics that not only I enjoy, but that fall into a somewhat similar category as my own comic, or have at least enough in common to make me believe that my readers would enjoy it.

Mind you, my links section as it is now is far from complete because I haven't taken the time to update it in forever.

*no pun intended

I'm just talking about comics that link you in a link page/section.

I pretty much feel exactly the same way as Cookie does. A link from me is a strong recommendation, because I only link to comics that I think are really something special, not just comics I "like." A strip generally needs to have a decent-sized archive for me to even consider linking to it because I usually can't tell how much I'm going to like a strip from 20-30 samples (an exception to this was Modern Love which just screamed freshness and originality from the get-go).

I hope the people who have linked me don't feel bad that I haven't, in turn, linked them; perhaps I will in time. Nobody on my links page has linked me, so I guess it all evens out.

Hmm...

Ninja John, The Bards of Jarcuum, Emergency Exit, Noses Optional, Tales of Pylea.

Oh and as of late, a comic called "skewed reality", which I don't think I will be linking back to, because I believe it's some sort of shonen-ai or yaoi.
(When I looked up the site, a warning showed up warning about n4ked men touchin another. :ick:)

Also, I sent a fanart to "Rob and Elliot", which the artist said he'd put up "for reals!" but has not, after several months...

Webcomics I know link to me via link section/page. I only went off my recent stats so I might have missed some. Other comics have me in archives, fanart or in misc pages (like I'm on Zebra Girl for cameoing) and some blogs too but not going to bother linking them since took me long enough to figure out all these comics.

Parallel Dementia
JunkRiot
Beyond Reality
Hazard's Wake
Reckless Youth
Cold Servings
Patchwork Champions
Pimpette and Associates
Mansion of E
Cortland (not in a links section per say but I seem to be all over his main page so I think it counts.
Atavism
Duchess Mew
Zombination
Sharing a Universe
Valrar
BlackTie Comics
Project ADAM
Starlit Nights
Hopscotch
Hell Sweet Hell
Fletcherapts
Playing with Knifes
Pillars of Faith
Ready or Not
Angst is a Five Lettered Word (dosn't have actual link page but I think it's the closest he does)
Coiling Spine

I used to be linked by Fail, but then that comic stopped updating, and now nobody links to me at all.

So, uh.... I'm lacking in the link department.

Okies, comics that link me:

LOGO
Indefensible Positions
Soccer is Full of Cheese
Patchwork Champions
z0mg!
Sharing a Universe *waves to TRI*
Nukees - technically not a link, it's a gavspotting, but never mind.

I've done a few bits of fanart here and there (Ooops, Nevermind is the only one I can think of off the top of my head).

I also have a long-running crossover with Magical Misfits, and I was in the Halloween Cameo Caper this year, which is still generating hits for me.

I basically have two links sections on my site; one has a handful of comics that I want to help promote (by which I mean that they deserve more exposure than they're getting - I wouldn't put a Keenspot comic in there 'cuz it probably wouldn't need my help, for example), and the other has all 150+ of the webcomics I've read that I actually follow (which is where most of the people who've already posted in this thread as being linked by me are linked - sorry guys!).

Jack of all Blades
Tsuzuku Jinsei O <-- Not a comic.
Steve and Mac
Protean Comics

Other sites have linked me, but I did not list them because I'm not listed on their links pages.

I have no idea who has linked me.

And I have to update my own links page.

The two biggest folk that refer to TTG are Darken and the Lounge. Darken beats the TAR out of all the other referrers combined, however... *gives Komi lotsa love*

I have lots of comics linking to mcDuffies, can't bother to even try to remember them all. Other comics are much more spare in that department.

Yes, you did! Sorry I forgot, I was in the middle of checking my referrers when the "skewed reality" thing kinda threw me off.

But thank you Legendary! When I put up a link page over the christmas holidays, expect to be on it!

I'm only linked by NJ and Leet Seed as far as I know. Still too new or the comic just plain sucks to read. :P
