Well not interrupt this new train of thought, but glad you liked the flame effects. They're 100% original and easy to do in photoshop 7. If anyone wants to know how I'm happy to spill the beans.

And the reason the most recent comic is dated the 10th of Nov is that I'm backdating so that the archives show a comic for every Sunday. The latest comic is dated the 17th of November even though we just updated on the 4th of December. Hopefully by the end of the month we'll be caught up.

Whoa! And I thought my not getting an update in since Nov. 11th was bad...

The flames are okay, I guess (looks like it just probably took a lot of layers in photoshop with various opacity adjustments)... although I'm actually more impressed by his overall coloring and layout skills. Very well-done.

Man I've been trying to reply to this for awhile now but these forums keep going down... Anyways glad you like the flames (though I read cinderblock and I think jealousy would suit me better). They're easy to make from scratch with photoshop 7 (and a whole host of other effects, like perhaps snowflakes for this time of year) and I'm happy to spill the beans if anyone's curious.

Also the reason the archives show the 10th of November as the most recent is that I'm backdating so that there's always a comic on Sunday in the archives. We should get caught up by the end of December. No promises on a MWF schedule, but I do have less classes next semester so we'll see if a weekly schedule can ever be more then just a dream.
