So are a lot of the songs.
I feel like there's a furry joke to be had here, but it's Friday and I want to go home.

When I put out my record the cover will definitely feature my disembodied-cartoon head.

human vivisection cover. thats where the true best selling record cover surely will be found.

I guess they do but this, we're self-releasing for obvious reasons of music having appeal only to friends and family. I could have just added bar code for kicks, but I haven't thought of it. Vivisection is due to every single song is named after some organ. And leopard skin is due to guitar player insisting on it. He bought the leopard skin guitar because it was cheapest, but now he likes it like a mother loves ugly child.

If you're seriously putting out a record, you should copyleft it and put it on the interblags so I can listen to it.
At least, I'd like that.

Re: Get Ya Freak On.
actually my solo project's first album I'm composing currently is a theme album too! mine however is all about being 'alone' kinda wrote two songs with this 'morrissey' kind of feel and fell in love with the idea. It's only going to be six songs though... but I'm like leonard Cohen speed when writing music. so look for it in 2048.McDuffies wrote:I guess they do but this, we're self-releasing for obvious reasons of music having appeal only to friends and family. Awesome, Duff.
To clear any confusion, I'm actually not putting out a record.

We probably will after the first wave of CDs, but you can hear bits and pieces of yourspace.Jesusabdullah wrote:If you're seriously putting out a record, you should copyleft it and put it on the interblags so I can listen to it.At least, I'd like that.
Our project isn't so much a theme album as it's just songs named after organ. We do like to call it a concept album, but there's even less concept than on "Sargent Pepper".actually my solo project's first album I'm composing currently is a theme album too! mine however is all about being 'alone' kinda wrote two songs with this 'morrissey' kind of feel and fell in love with the idea. We're a duo with one single guitar, we're currently negotiating with similar-thinking people to expand to a full size band, but we are doing three releases as a duo to complete the first tripple-CD conceptual demo album in history. Yes, we are awesome. We played in two shows of a local band who are our friends, and I was shocked at how much people actually loved us. There's a video of one on myspace as well.btw I think I speak for everyone on this thread when I say... keep us posted. also... had no idea you got a band together, are you guys playing out? not sure if its different from the hassle it can sometimes be here in the states.

Seeing the Smoking Popes tomorrow. Chicago punk/power pop band with great songs about being pathetic and smoking. Awesome stuff.
I;m going to more shows this month than I have since college.
