You might try chat. Of course, coloring it yourself is as good as anything.

:o

this is what i get for not looking at the forums for extended periods of time, regardless, yes, i can be reached on the chat at any given time, if i'm not there, chances are, i'll be on later, either way:

Image

just an example, i'd need a higher resolution image in order to accomplish a bit of a better job, plus it's 1 am right now, just provide me with a high res image, and, a list of each character featured, 'cuz i'm gonna haveta look up their colorations (if any) or contact their owners to see who's who, since i see some a recoginize, and some i don't, i don't wanna botch it up, after all

i can do either "painted" like this, cell shaded, or a slight combination between the two, whatever's more applicable/time effective.

no prob, it gives me an opportunity to use coloring methods outside the one i use for my comic :D

edit: watch this space and see it progress! (from this point on, it'll update whenever i finish a character, starting with genchan)

what day next week do you need it by? (taking into account Australian time)
http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/city.html?n=396

Edit: i'm not sure who that horned indiviual is, KOMP himself isn't sure, either, red with black hair, that's all we know.. hell, i'm not too sure of that myself.

oh, and faub, Komp also mentioned that the gal next (right hand side of screen) to claude is aparrently sandy from your comic, got a color guide for her? (or at least a colored version i can use as a reference)

http://www.faubcomic.com/d/20060414.html

The colored image halfway down the page is a group shot. Sandy is the one with the wings. Shelly is wearing the grey coat Sandy wore in issues 1 and 2, though it doesn't look like she's wearing it.

EDIT: Oh, yeah.
http://www.faubcomic.com/issue2/index.html?28 <-- the issue 2 cover
http://www.faubcomic.com/d/20040831.html <-- the issue 5 cover

I had thought the horned one was either RA or BOMC.

Edit Again: I need to get the sampler to the printer by the wednesday or thursday before the cookout to have plenty of time to get it printed, stapled, folded and cut before the cookout. So, if you can finish the cover sometime between wednesday and thursday and I have a PDF made that night and get it to the printer the next morning. If they aren't open I can go to Kinkos, but they are likely to need a day or two to finish. I can pick the books up on the way to the cookout (friday). Since you're 14 hours ahead of me, if you finish by thursday night your time, I'll have all thursday to finish the pdf and get it to the printer and then I'll still be able to pick up the prints friday as I go. Anytime before that would be most excellent.
