I fly in less than 9 hours! Also, spent the day with a friend after I finished packing.

Seattle is warmer than Kaiserslautern, but I still expect to use my all-weather coat due to the rain. Snow would have actually been better since I have no rain jacket or boots for during the day.

Finally, I have a two hour layover in London. Gonna enjoy the crap out of that with some cider and pub food.

I assure you, snow would not have been better - snow in Seattle tends to mean buses skidding off of overpasses. No one knows how to drive on ice here.

Rain I can handle, even cold rain.

Well, whatever weather there is, I'm coming in! I got my hair cut Saturday, so hopefully it'll still be looking sharp by Tuesday night. I probably won't shave until Tuesday night, mainly because I look so dashing with a bit of stubble.

Super excited! I already called my credit card company before leaving and warned them to expect giant charges on the 7th. I'm gunning for the guest appearance in the comic, but I've set a 2k spending limit. So, I'll probably not get it...this time.

Yeah, that one is gonna be astronomical! I'm so nervous that I'm going to miss a train or something - bah! All will be well, I'm sure.

Sooo... Last week, Michelle's car was parked outside of her sister's house, and was totaled by a hit-and-run driver. Garbage.

BUT... she got a call from her insurance company, and they're going to be giving her a few grand MORE than she originally paid for it. Sweet. :D :D

On the one hand, I hope that driver gets some punishment, but on the other hand they did just give you a sweet payout.

Use the money well and in health.

In my defense, I am an artist. My brain is not wired for math. That stated, I did well in the class. I just hope I did well on the final.

You can be both an artist and excellent at math, provided that you're sf artist.

See, there's my problem. Too many elves and goblins, and not enough spaceships and robots in my formative years.

I totally blame the cartoons of my childhood (Robotech/Voltron/Battle of the Planets/etc) for my tendency to make every project have at least five main characters, usually with an individual colour scheme.

Are you saying that we shouldn't have characters with individual colour schemes?

I think I'm pretty clear on my opinion of colour schemes:

I totally blame the cartoons of my childhood (He-Man/Thundercats/Pirates of Dark Water/ etc) for my tendency to make every project have at least a dozen erotically overmuscled male characters, usually with giant... um... weapons.
