Updated with sketch book sketches - sorry 56k'ers, this gallery's a monster O_oLAGtheNoggin wrote:<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/lagthenogg ... COLLECTION GALLERY. COLLECTION GALLERY.</a>
I am assimilating all the photos to one location - and not killing anyone's bandwidth; Hot link all you want! Hurrah!
Here's my sketch book sketches:

Nogg with an IMI Mini UZI and Glock 26C, both 9mm, both with empty clips in about 3 seconds. Thank-you jops ^_^

RYClaude's found the felt tips.

War promptly breaks thumbs and finds more felt tips.

Yes. Yes indeed!

Thank-You Komiyan! So awesome ^___^

And a little piece from Gianna, yay! Speaking of which, where's Gianna's book? I got Faceless to model for Fred the Dread in there.

Three days later and the pictures are still coming in!! (These are from Cookie's camera)

More War wiggage

Me wigging out although I could really do just as well on my own.

War picks his teeth whilst Jops fans himself "Oh the heat!"

Claude shows some genuine concern for the plight of our dwindling Moomen.

A few of Robin's dainty little hands.

I ward off Comic Convention vampires with my cunning scalp-crucifix while I busily draw.
Plus, a healthy dollop of random con photography.

WOoo photos! Good job Flickr can take a lot of pounding, the picture of Liz at her table's had 1700 hits since Sunday evening O.o
Also, the random last lot are awesome, UKWebComix and Lorenzo from Magic Malcolm might want to use those, is that Okay? I've got an 'attribution license' on all the pictures but that's not really for me to say.

Hey Guys...(that's a non-gender-specific "Guys")
It was great meeting all of you at the Thing. I know I already mentioned Robin and Kate (I'm like that, always ignoring the Dudes), but it was also a thrill to meet Bob and Claude and War (who never seemed to stop drawing, which I sort of envy) and Gort. And Laura, who is definitely not a Dude but whom I neglected to mention the other day anyay.
Saturday was the first time I have been around other webcomic artists in person (with the exception of my nephew, who wasn't actually a webcomic artist at the time if you wanna get technical about it since he was young enough to be taking a bath in a garbage can the last time I saw him irl) and I gotta say it was a thrill and a surprise.
A thrill because you guys (Ngsg) are all talented and nuts and it feels good to be on the same "Team" as you (GO SEE GEE!), and a surprise because you all looked so healthy and young and clear-eyed, and not at all tired and hungover and still feeling the effects of a drug-addled youth as I had expected you to be.
I guess I thought all webcomic artists/authors were like me.
I think I need to get out more.
Here are some photos. I'll label them in a minute.

Yeah I thought they looked good too.
(and patient. it took me five or six frames to get the exposure right)

Autofocus?LAGtheNoggin wrote:I tried the same photo about 8 times, but by the time I was getting focus it'd kinda' dropped the moment...
Stupid focus. You win.
Also, I never realised who you were mr Katmaidog! Man, Edible Dirt rocks. Why didn't it click? Ho hum...
*gets back to assimilating more pictures*

maybe because I messed up and didn't get a table so I couldn't put out a bunch of cool swag, like the rest of the UK CG contingent. Or maybe it was because I DID look tired and hungover and still (sorta...some of the effects are permanent) feeling the effects of a drug-addled youth.LAGtheNoggin wrote:Also, I never realised who you were mr Katmaidog! I did not look clear eyed like the rest of the CG peeps.
Sorry, Adam...I really was a tad hungover, so i can't seem to place your face. Where were you and can you point me to a picture? (I'm "24" in your flickr photos. and hey...I'm glad you liked the "wtf" picture. That was a lucky shot and just right for a comedic what the fuck))

Oh, no, I was wondering if he was using autofocus at the time. Whenever I try to take pictures of all the flowers that bloom around spring on campus, the autofocus fucks up on the white petals and often drops out at the last moment, right when I get it perfect. Heck autofocus drops out on just about anything when it looks right.War wrote:He pointed out earlier that his lens is 40 years old, and to get a modern equivalent would cost him £1500 ($2200 or so).

Heheh, yeah, Neko has a battle on with Autofocus. In my opinion manual focus with the old prism assists really were the way to go, however youth these days don't even know what one looks like let alone used one! They don't stock em standard anywhere.
As for me, I was the one in camo's swinging a chunky looking camera around and hair that seriously needed a cut. I didn't really see you since I didn't know who you were, but you might remember my face. Link.

Yeah, it's a great front picture for the Webcomix set, nice capture.katmaidog wrote:Sorry, Adam...I really was a tad hungover, so i can't seem to place your face.
