Ah, well, that's all fine (although some of the art is pretty bad). All that doesn't require you to have played a series of games you haven't actually played.

Aparently McDuffies is mad too, so you're in good company.

As for the games thing: All I know about RPGs I learned from RPG World, 8-bit Theather and The n00b. It's like Star Wars: You know the parody before you know the original, but it still made perfect sense.
Warning: This poster regularly makes unintentionally sexual posts. Or at least "unintentional" is what she claims...

Exactly. If it's well-written you get the jokes anyway. I read a parody of Monty Python and the Quest for the Holy Grail before I saw the movie, but everything made sense. (Upon reading the parody I though the writer was insane. Later, I saw the movie. The author seemed much more normal.) Plus, read enough of them and you start to learn a lot about it without ever having played the game or whatever. A lot of the webcomics I read are about gaming, and comics like Role of the Die have taught me more about D&D than I'll probably ever need to know, considering I don't play it.

I haven't watched that either. But I'm avoiding it deliberately.

What? Why? It's genius!
Or... maybe you should watch the original Star Wars first. Yes, go do that. And then Spaceballs. And then Thumb Wars.

Probably so he can make his own parody without ripping off jokes from other parodies without realizing it. Or possibly so he doesn't start subconciously judging his version against the others . . .

There are some valid reasons.

It's hilarious man. They really make fun of the Star Wars thing. Especially Yoda is a hoot. And it only lasts thirty minutes, so if you don't like it, at least it will be over soon eh?

The way you put it, it sounds like you're sarcastic all over.

"Man, what a laugh! They actually make fun of Star Wars!"

I've only ever seen Thumbtanic. That, however, had me in hysterics. :D Spaceballs was pretty damn hilarious too.
