In an attempt to get more interesting search strings this month, I embedded a hidden message in my indextemplate, which read "There is no pornography, porn, or any otherwise XXX action to be found on this website. Honest."

However, Google took it upon itself to display a contraction that read only as "...XXX action to be found on this website. Honest."

I think this may account for why I've received more search strings in April than in any prior month.

I finally have something for the strings thread! April was my best month ever (advertising on thewebcomiclist.com=very good way to spend $10). Evidently another way to get hits is to redo your links page to have little blurbs about the comics you like. Then you get hits like this:
