I paid about $5 for mine on Keenswag. It introduced me to Phil Likes Tacos, so I think it was worth it. I'm not sure if I'd pay $50 to have Cortland on one page, though.

Maybe it was the Keenswag one I saw? Which was the issue that had Kasey Keen on the cover, looking amused and slightly sarcastic, with floating screenshots behind her?

$5 is VERY surprisingly reasonable! I was REALLY boggled by the idea that some people must have paid $250-odd to have 5 pages in their name.

Why are you surprised? Us Keenspacer are customers. Customers pay for services. Through their nose if they're desperate enough.

I got 'space book last year from Chill Chan, by mail. It was interesting to read, but (apologuises to all who participated) what a way to waste 50$...

$50 is actually really cheap for that much distribution. It's just a question of whether or not it was effective advertising or not.

I also did phbites.comicgenesis.com and hntrac.comicgenesis.com way back when.

I rather compare it to other kinds of promotion. For instance, add space on webcomic sites, which seems to be much much more effective.

I STILL haven't got it, but since it's still available, only it's not free anymore, I might as well buy it.

Just wondering. Anyone still has extra copies for older Keenspace books that are willing to sell it to me for a low price?

Someday, someday I'll finish Confabulation. That day is not today, however.

I was actually considering buying a spot in that book myself this year, I suppose that makes is so not publishing a new one helps keep a higher image of Keenspace.

The keenspace cover does kick the ass of the keenspot cover.
