#334 ... My "Pages %" stat has been steadily decreasing ever since I resolved to update on a regular basis. That's what you get for sticking to a schedule... *fist-shaking*

I'm still having that problem with the "last update" being offset by one comic. It's more an annoyance than anything, but still...

I used to be on page 6 before my meltdown, but now I'm on 8. I don't count to figure out the actual placement number, cause it's hard and I don't like doing things like counting.

I wish that they would tell us this simple fact in our personal stat pages. It's the only solid number that I understand. I look at the charts, graphs, and whatnot, and don't understand any real-world significance.

It would be so much easier to have a basic pageview rank #.

or, barring that, something like "You are THIS far behind Ghastly..."

Honestly, I don't know if this topic has been raked over the coals before, or what. I also don't know if he's been asked, and refused, but I don't think he would. I also don't know if this is any kind of sore subject.

But.

But, I realize that the nature of his comic might not meet the "advertisement savvy" of the current business model. Fine. But what about Purple Pussy?

Purple Pussy seems to have been grand-fathered in, cause DK had Lizard on the books already. Special status was granted it. It doesn't appear on the main page, but sometimes shows up in the ad-box on the left side of the Keenspot page. It's a spotted comic, and he gets compensated for his work, but he's kept out of sight like your cousin with webbed hands.

PP doesn't make me laugh, GGC does. Seems a slight. Why couldn't even GGC get on the books in the same "back-room" way as PP?

Or, as my uncle used to say, "Who ya gotta blow in this town to get a f*cking break?"

Well, just my thoughts: the precedent is already there. Seems there could at least be TWO.

Actually, it'd make you #1495. See the title up the top? It tells you that page 17 displays ranks from 1400-1500.
