(For some reason, my internet still works, so I'm gonna squeeze every last post out of it that I can!!! Unfortunately, even though I planned to actually update the comic next week, that probably won't happen..curses...)
There is a very simple, clear reason for my often-lack of updates.
LAZINESS. I'm such a friggin' procrastinator.
I had this HUGE project in freshman year which spanned the whole year, and ended on the last day..... I did the whole visual the night before at 3 am.
Thank you for thinking that my comic could become popular, though .^_^.
Who are you calling a super-small bean you need a magnifying glass to see?!!!

Actually, I fail to understand how it is not fair for the rest of people.
Could someone explain?
I assume it's because of the unique visitors and somesuch.
But in that case he could as well demand you have at least 100 visitors a day or other somesuch.

Maybe they think that promoting dead comics is not fair to the ones that are alive and updating?

It's because if you aren't currently updating your webcomic, how can anyone be sure that you're going to be truly willing or even still able to put in the energy necessary to make something for the exchange? There was a lot of trouble with people not putting in their submissions and just dropping off the face of the 'net last year, and much of it came from people who's comics were dead, on super-long hiatus, and/or extremely new.
Existence is a series of catastrophes through which everything barely but continually survives.
Ooooooooh.. I just popped in and saw this. Damn I need ot get to work if I want in... Well I think I finally found my reason to start updating again. Away I go to draw a comic!
I am so in. (soon as I get ...7 or so new comics in.... crap I need to get to work.)
[edit] I only have 10 days to write and draw 7 comics... oh man I hope Liz is feeling sympatetic when she gets my submission because I am screwed![/edit]
I am The Poster Formerly Known as Crossfire. Or PFKAC. ...has a certain ring to it, no?

How can anyone be sure you will be able to put in the energy necessary to make something for exchange when you're busy updating your own comic? Huh?
But okay, I'm beginning to see the reasons.

I signed up.
Now let's see if I can draw fanart.
Or you could explain the science of the comic you get assigned. It'd be interesting to see ABOL explain unreal science.
It's easier than you think.
