I love the Pixies and the Cranberries. I wish I'd seen the original thread now.

The pixies are proof positive you are not the sum of your parts. when they split off to become the cranberries and the breeders..
<KittyKatBlack> You look deranged. But I mean that in the nicest way possible. ^_^;

I don't believe anyone from the Pixies were responsible for the Cranberries. They were all Irish, Joey Santiago worked on Frank Black's solo stuff, and David Lovering became a magician.
That said, I liked the Breeders. Frank Black's solo stuff on the other hand...

Something secret that everyone who's a
VIP on these boards should know full well about by now.
The informative memo delivered via the PM network (aka
The Vine ) was very clear on that (as well as the finer details concerning the real reasons behind the forum move) and proved very interesting reading.
Why Pin, didn't you get one?

Wow. Derailment on the second post; that's gotta be a new record.
Faith is what credulity becomes when it finally achieves escape velocity from the constraints of terrestrial discourse- reasonableness, internal coherence, civility, and candor. Thus, the men who commited the atrocities of September 11 were neither cowards nor lunatics of any sort, but Men of Faith- perfect faith- and this, it must finally be acknowleged, is a terrible thing to be.
