Are you kidding? Are you dumb? Megablocks are for babies. Legos all the way, hands down, indisputably. Anyone who disagrees must pay the ultimate price. I'm not sure what that is exactly, but rest assured, it is ultimate.

Legos...but only if they're the oldschool ones. Not these newfangled easy peasy ones.

Back in my day, we didnt have these hyper-advanced, electronics-and-cool-shit-with-millions-of-different-types-of-block lego. Why, we were lucky if we had more than two colours and one type of block. And by god, we still put those bricks to use! And we were poor as well, so me an' my old man build our entire house outta lego. The plumbing was lego, the wiring was lego, my clothes were lego, my mum's dildo was lego, and my little sister was lego as well.

But did we complain? NO. You kids have it so easy these days, what with your new fangled videogames and rap music. The only thing me an' my friends had to play with growing up were ROCKS, and by god we played the hell outta those rocks. We played 15 miles in the snow, in the biggest blizzard our county had ever seen! A blizzard, oddly enough, THAT WAS MADE OF LEGO!

I lost two whole friends to the infamous lego storm of '49. But did I complain or whine? No. We had no time for sympathies, as we were poor as dirt and needed to eat their carcasses to stay alive.

You damn kids today.

Those jokes were so old they could be in a museum, right next to this one.

But I still laughed myself out of the chair.

Exactly! Nowadays, Legos are almost completely built before you even open the box, and they come in so specialized versions for that exact set that it just isn't exciting anymore. (Not that I buy Legos anymore... Except for that time, 2 or 3 years ago, when me and a friend was bored and bought Legos for over 2000 NOK, which is more than 250 USD. :P)
Not using Keenspace, I just am here. For some reason. Probably because I'm making a webcomic. Yeah.

Lego all the way!
I took my Lego into school for my last year (wanna know what those kids who are about to graduate do in their free periods? they play lego) and we spent all our free time building Lego land yachts and racing cars so we could race each other. Great fun.

Yeah. I really don't understand the recent generations of "fighting" legos. What's the point in all that?

On the other hand mindstorms qounds pretty cool, and I'd wish I had the cash to buy one, and build some GIANT ROBOTS!
You are the Non. You must go now, and never return."

"1.Scan in high res 2.tweak with curves, levels or something to clean up the scan (or use channel mixer to remove blue pencil lines) 3.Add colour using a layer set to multiply. 4.Add wordbubbles and text as vector shapes. 5. Merge all layers. 6.resize to the web size. 7. Export/Save for Web" that's all I know about webcomicking.

As a child, I never owned legos. *sigh* I really have never been happy with that. And they're so expensive now that even selling gemstones, I can't afford the piles and piles and piles of them that I want.

My friend had four big boxes (moving boxes) full of legos. I was so jealous...

I had an erector set (the original one, with the sharp metal bits and stuff, not this plastic crap they sell now). THAT was lots of fun. I still like putting together metal shelving units.

whats with the lego palm trees? those are the saddest things ever. remember when they came in dozens of pieces and you could shape them anyway you wished? now they are like 3 pieces....

Hmm, erector set... that like a box of porn? Cause I used to have one too! Used to make a fort out of them too! Used to spend days in it...

It's a plastic tool chest filled with short, medium, and long bits of sharp metal with screw holes in them, and a ton of metal screws and nuts. There are also some toxic plastic pieces with screw holes in them in case you want to bolt those on too.

It was fun to make things with it. Usually the stuff I made would break other stuff, and I got too old to play with it.

Technic will always be forever cool, even if it is just hyper-expensive plastic. Hook up a Mindstorm kit to a handyboard an you can actually build intelligent robots with real sensors. One of these days I'm going to hook a handyboard onto a powered lawnmower.
