Where is Keenspace headed?

For discussions, announcements, non-technical questions and anything else comics-related or otherwise that doesn't fit in any of the other categories.

Do you plan to stick with Keenspace even if the problems persist?

Yes, I would never host my comic any place else.

Yeah, we got our account back in late September, and the site's been pretty much down since late November, which stinks because we were starting to get a following. In fact, for the 2 days where the comic was back up when the servers came back up last week we got over 300 hits (considering we were down for so long, it was good to see people still remembered we existed) I think we're gonna stay here for now, as long as I see fit cause I'm the one uploading it and everything. I just really hope they fix this soon because we really want people to see our comics as we put them up....already I've uploaded 2 that got very limited viewing time, and the current one probably will too. I mean, we update every two weeks...so when we saw the page was up I put the comic that was supposed to be for early December up...then it went down, and then came back up, and I posted the current one...but bwha...it's so fustrating...Hopefully things will get better soon.

Wow...you only update every 2 weeks? And I thought my schedule of updating once a week was scarce! ^^;

yeah well...I'm not the one who draws it...my friend Yuki does...then I color it and stuff. But we're both really busy with school and stuff so it's hard to do the comic from start to finish within a week...We might, if we end up developing a backlog post them more frequently, but that might not happen till the summer when we do our summer specail (cause we have it planned and that'll take most of the summer)

Yeah, the community here is a swell bunch...

But I'd sell all your asses to the highest bidder if it would get me hosted on the Keenspot server. :evil:

I'm staying too. I believe all this mess in temporary, and anyway I'm connected with keenspace cause I read a lot of comics from there so if it's down, I suffer anyway.
And, I greet people with enthusiasm.

Hey, if that's what it takes to get my comic Spotted then...

I've got one Canadian Penny for Wrecked's ass... who will give me two? Two pennies... any bids at two?

No way! I've got two pennies left and one of them's a centennial! I'm not giving that one up, it's actually interesting as opposed to our "commemorative" quarters of the past few years...

Pfft. Commerative quarters..the USA ones are just plain dumb. However, I think it's funny that Ghastly is selling wrecky's ass.
But yes, the community here is wonderful (especially when we're all up really late, or someone is trying to sell someone else someone's butt.) ^^;

I'm looking into other options right now, but I also want to stay : ) I'm torn!

All I know is that I still can't update my site in the members area, and I dont get home in time to get a comic done and up before auto updating begins ... I'm sure there are ways to do it, but I'd really like the members area back up again ...

The province ones we had back in 1992 were pretty neat (we crammed all of ours into one year)... The issue is that in 1999, 2000, and 2001 we had "commemorative" quarters with no real meaning whatsoever....
