Guys, what is the first letter of my last name?
Okay, the subject isn't my last name, (since I used my initials to make my pen name, both my real and pen names both have the same initials)
It's about this question
Why do you draw?

Because I enjoy doing it. And I guarantee you that that'll be 90% of the answers you get. Drawing is everything from a power-trip creation process to a stress reliever for me. I am like a god- I create infinate worlds and characters! Mwa ha ha ha ha!

This is indeed a difficult question to answer, but I believe I have found the solution to all of our problems.
Muffins.
Yes, muffins. That's why people draw. The magic and tasty goodness found in these Danish-created treats are given out by the Robot Bunnies of Tegri VI to various webcomic authors for their creativity and time-consuming talents every time they draw a comic.
Of course, I really wouldn't know. Having absolutly no artistic value whatsoever (need I post some of the crap I made in Fine Arts?), I've yet to see any of these muffins. Damn robots.

I draw because I wanted to try out a different medium, and because it's fun, and because I wanted to work on my drawing skills. I'm used to just writing, which I am good at and enjoy, but I wanted to stretch myself a bit, challenge myself more, and tell a story visually.
But now I realize that I only did my comic for one reason. ^_^ And I didn't even know it when I started.
My comic got me a boyfriend!!! So, Jamie....I think you're wrong about that being a lie...

I draw because I have a powerful and undying urge to express the inside of my head on paper for others to see.
I have stories to tell, and this does the job quite well, since no one ever reads what I write.

That's why I'd keep my kids AWAY from comics! These kids today.. they're comicing at a younger and younger age! I sure hope you guys are using some sort of protection when you engage in this "online snuggling"!KedaDibandion wrote:I draw because I wanted to try out a different medium, and because it's fun, and because I wanted to work on my drawing skills. I draw because it's not possible for me to interact with people on a more "personal" or "meaningful" level due to my unfortunate long-term incarceration.

When there's something I like, I try my hand at it. I like comics.
Agh! I'm delicious!

Actually, I am an aspiring writer (Either that, or that big "Nightmare 7" link at the bottom's just for show.). I started GS to improve my descriptions of characters. I thought by forcing me to draw characters, I could describe them better.YarpsDat wrote:it beats writing.
Of course, GS developed a personality of its own: a sick, demented personality.
