Point Three: I'm remarkably bummed right now. Had a rather unpleasant Holiday Concert where I got to sit with the "Normal" band while the "Awesome Jazz" Band played . . . and I would have gotten to be in that band if I'd signed up for Jazz Band instead of my physics class which is going nowhere and . . .

I think I'll go and calm down now . . .

Feeling much better now. I got to teach Christmas carols to a bunch of kids in a French class. Much fun all 'round!

I just spent the past hour being very frustrated with the volunteers who work the front desk on weekdays. I had to re-sort the entire patient card catalog because people had let it get extremely far out of order. Missing cards, extra cards, H's in the middle of the M section . . . YERRRRRRRGH.

Such un-niceness.

I go to a small school, so the selection is limited to popular girls who won't look at me twice, druggie girls whom i'd rather not date, and the occasional semicounterculture girl whois already friends with me and I don't want to make that awkward by dating her.

Or boys . . . but I'm not going there.

I've found that it's easier to date the friends. Looking at the comic, Diana would be a good choice.

Easier if it works.

Otherwise, this seems to be generally accepted as being a bad idea, as I understand.

My gosh. The forums regurgitate another dead discussion. Oy. And while it doesn't show in the comic, I'm seventeen and Diana is like thirteen of fourteen. Not gonna happen.

What's wrong with dating someone younger than you? Older people do it all the time.

Yeah, but right now, she's only, say, three-quartes of my age right now! That feels so wrong. Besides, I'm a Mormon, and we have a thing about not dating until you're sixteen. I'm just extending that to include not dating people under sixteen.

Yeah, but you're legal now and will continue to be . . . .

In a year or two, I couldn't date Diana for legal reasons . . . (ick)

. . . and since when did you do anything more than hug Indy?

Honestly, I'm 17, well 18 now, but I have always talked like I was 30.

One of the reasons I'm not dating is because, since I'm a senior in my high school, approx. 7/8 of the high school student body is younger than I am, and it's hard finding an intelectual equal when everytime you meet someone, it's like sandblasting a soup cracker.

Sorry, I just got into the forums 2 days ago. Well, just looking at the comic again, you could date... Trisha was it? It just looks like Danielle is a real jerk, though. I'm starting to wonder why you keep her in the comic.
