Well, I think people who only watch the show like Sansa because they don't know about all the stupid stuff she does in the books.

I've only watched the first season and I'm reading the books first because I want to see what happens in the original as the show has made quite a few changes to the plot. And yes, Sansa is my least favourite character of the series because she's pretty much just a ragdoll being dragged around by the plot. Jon is my second least favourite, but he's becoming less of a whiny bitch in Dance with Dragons, so my dislike of him has lessened a bit.

Have an interesting anecdote about the whole rape fiasco, or "SansaGate" as it's called. Got into a pretty heated flamewar with someone I've been friends with since high school and went to her wedding. She's of the mindset that it's the most horrible thing ever put on TV, I think it was a necessary moment for story and character development. Led to name calling and accusations of misogyny towards me, and me blocking her on Facebook. Have to admit a show has a lot of clout if it can destroy friendships.
I mean fine but....

I don't need this kind of thing in my life. Not until I finish Kimmy Schmidt anyway.

Can't say I'm surprised that assumption has entered The Mythos of Yeahduff but it hasn't been true since college, though I guess I've spent a lot of time freeloading off of roommates' TVs.

I still exist, but I do books now. My next book will probably be done editing in about a month.

I stopped going here when my forums weren't used, and when I started getting into conversations at thewebcomiclist ... but if you've seen that place lately.

Mostly, I stick to twitter and Google+ now, posting links to the updates.

I tend to check the forums when I'm working on my comic or updating, which until recently hasn't been much. I usually just lurk. If I happen to see a post that I think I might want to comment on, I usually think myself out of it on the grounds that no one could possibly be interested in my opinion. Yay social anxiety.

Shoos the crows away. I'm not dead. Jeez, you take one nap in a ditch and they start declaring you this and that.

Great show! Though it took a few episodes to grow on me. It's interesting how it averts many of the subtle tropes so prevalent in modern television with the inclusion of multiple minority characters, three-dimensional elderly characters, young people who actually talk to their parents...

Also can we talk about that awesome soundtrack.

I liked it immediately but like it more with each episode. Only gotten to the one with Claire Danes so far. There's a certain meanderiness that I really appreciate, but then I would. Gotta say, though, the episode where a lot of people were dying to go to a Father John Misty show seemed implausible.

I was thinking the same thing, even being a fan of him and Fleet Foxes he isn't really someone I'm dying to see live. If the episode had a secret Blood Orange show on the other hand, that would be totally believable.

While I'm not sure it'd be more believable I'd at least be like "Take me, Dev".

I liked Master of None a lot. It reminded me a bit of Louie, but less soul crushing, which was the main thing that kept me from really getting past season 1 of that show.

Also, on the topic of Netflix shows: Bojack Horseman might be my favorite thing ever. The end of season two has be a bit worried that the show will just end up spinning it's wheels, having the characters replay the same arcs over and over without ever changing. But I'll wait to see what they do with season 3 before I pass judgement.

Yeah, I feel like Master of None is splitting the difference between Louie and Girls though not half as nihilistic as either. Also I may have a small crush on Noel Wells.

Should really just watch Bojack Horseman already.
