Re: Group LiveDraw
Alright, so the test run went pretty awesomely for the most part. There were a few minor bugs, but I think it should all go pretty smoothly next time.
Thanks to everyone who participated. For anyone who's interested there is a YouTube version here. It's 4 hours long though (for some reason the last hour and a half got cut off), so for those who would rather not sit through the whole thing, here are some hightligts:
Cope is a dummy head.
Are you guys on Twiddler?

Unfortunately, I think the battle to get Rock to divulge the Red Slime password thing got cut off.

Re: Group LiveDraw
So, I guess the next step would be to figure out what would be the best day/time for the most people to do a real one of these. Not that there would be any actual differences between the test one and the "real" one, other than me actually knowing how to set it up so people can get in.
I think the Friday night time slot worked pretty well. Maybe we could do it again in 2 weeks (May 10th)? My schedule is very flexible though. Any night Wed-Sat would work for me.

Or perhaps a Saturday afternoon. That might leave it open to the widest range of timezones.

Oh my god you guys
It's still there because a) it feels silly to delete it just because it's bad and b) I forgot the password! Haha damn it's awful.

Re: Group LiveDraw
I'll likely be asleep during your afternoons.

Re: Group LiveDraw
I guess any night's okay for me as well.
I messed with the settings on my router and was able to connect to my girlfriend's laptop with my iPhone, so I guess my connection issues might be fixed. I also probably have an old headset somewhere I'll dig up so that I can use my desktop as a backup.

Re: Group LiveDraw
So, the general consensus on this over at twitter is that Saturday afternoons would probably work best (Sorry Humbug,
though if it goes as long as the first one you might be able to make the end. And it's not like this is set in stone. If we end up doing more the day and time can move around.)
So how about we do the next one on Saturday the 11th? Probably at around 4 or 5 pm EST.

I definitely will be asleep then, because it'll be 4/5am on my end. I usually wake up at 7 30, so we'll see if you guys are still around, But you guys have fun.

Re: Group LiveDraw
Woo, I shall have to keep my eyes open around that time then. I do indeed have those afternoons free.

Cool, I'll see if I can find some time to pop in on the 11th. Not 100% sure what my plans will be for that day yet.

A google hangout where we all draw and chat and stuff. It's just a video chat, but we use the "share screen" option in google hangouts to see what everyone is drawing (if you work digitally) or just point your webcam at your desk or wherever you draw.Yeahduff wrote:guys what is this
