Also: I really like the way cities look at night from a plane.

Two of my character drawn in Regular Show style:

A Goriya from Zelda:

Two doodles I made:

Obviously wasn't having a very good week.

Blech, double-post. Still, I've been trying out the new bamboo wacom thing my missus got me, and come to the conclusion that the quality is good enough for me to abandon pen and paper forever. Hot damn, I never knew these things were so good. It's got me looking at macbooks as well >.>

Aaaaand POW. I just ran with the previous drawing, and ended up with my first ever completely digital creation. No pencil, pen or paper in any stage of the process.

No, but, really... They made the last lot of Spiderman films about a year ago (or 5), what's with the remake. Unless it's all to hide the bit where the friend dies and the audience burst out laughing.
I really can't be bothered to watch it this time round and unless they're planning on putting the new guy in a film with Robert Downey Jr. I can't see that changing.

Now y'see, I liked the new film in a lot of ways. Andrew Garfield is much better casting in my opinion. It also seemed way better directed, but then I always hated Raimi. It's just far too soon to rehash a film everyone has already seen, and not even that long ago.
And it was a complete re-hash. They didn't even bother to change the plot at all. Replace Norman Osborne with Kurt Conners, and hope nobody notices. The writing was bad, and everyone on crew made the best of it, or it could have been much much worse.
I'd be happy to see Garfield play Spiderman in a NEW script.

Ain't rocket science. Spiderman movies are very lucrative and Tobey Maguire is too old to be Spiderman.

It's not really a remake. And it's actually pretty good, I had low expectations and was pleasantly surprised.
It's nice to see a female character who actually does shit instead of just being "the prize."

The lass who plays Gwen weirds me out, and I don't know why.
Anyhow, more doodlin's, bit o' design this time. I'm thinking I'm going to give my new electric bicycle an identity, so I'm giving it an aperture science style make-over. Still not sure what to name it though. The Aperture Science Dual-Propulsion Personnel Movement Device? Any ideas are welcome.
Gonna have this (or similar but not so coloured) lit up on the front. Will have to see how it looks once on, as you can't stick any old colour lights on something that's used on-road.

Edit: Rather than double-postin' again, more doodles. Bamboo makes me draw lots.
Character concept for BOC, Joey.

Hey, it's Mr. Bob.
If it's not some variation of "She should have red hair" we're officially on the outs.Rickford wrote:The lass who plays Gwen weirds me out, and I don't know why.

Re: Doodles 12: Just like clockwork.
So last night as I started my last night shift for a while I did a little doodle on the sheet we all have with all the information about all the patients. I'm always doing little doodles when I get bored at hand over (because half the medication talk makes no sense to me and most of the stuff I need to know is written on the sheet). Anyway it's a cool, very simple, little sketch of a robot duck so I decided to redo it on the computer this morning when I got home. Which I did, then went sleepy, closed the lit of the laptop to sleep and then heard the little jingle it makes when it decides to restart itself and erase all the stuff I was too tired to remember to save. Which is why you have this little story and not a bizarre picture of a duck.

Yeah, what's up with that, it's not a DC character.robotthepirate wrote: I really can't be bothered to watch it this time round and unless they're planning on putting the new guy in a film with Robert Downey Jr. I can't see that changing.
Seriously though, these superhero origin stories get rehashed more often than freaking Christmas Carol.

I'm not talking about Gwen I'm talking about the lass who played her.

THE FIRST BIT OF BATMAN BEGINS WAS SO DAMN BORING
