I remember that sock puppet.

I should draw cg-ers portraits based in their pets.

Was out walking the dog today when I came across some finches sitting in the middle of the road. They couldn't fly and were only mildly scared of people, so they were probably someones pets, but I wasn't really sure. Either way I got them out of the street and under a tree. Sadly, I think one of them died while I was moving them. :( Not sure why, I think the heat and the sun and the stress got to him.

She's actually named after Ellen Ripley, the main character in the Alien movies, but my husband calls her THE RIPPER because she is tiny and sweet and it's funny.

We just took our kitties to the vet today, they cried and howled the whole drive there and the littler one is still hiding now that we're home for a few hours :(

The thing is, she went behind this chair in my room, so I wnet to seek her... but there isn't physically enough room for her to fit back there, and now I'm concerned.

Also I'm concerned because I'll eventually have to close my door and don't want her to freak out that she can't leave.

I am, but I can still keep lesser-evolved versions as pets, can't I? I mean, what about people keeping monkeys as pets?

How are they doing now? I heard it could take a while, but kittehs in such states come around eventually.

They both ended up being okay, although I have a traumatic story about the little one I thought was in the chair D: I'll share it later, lol, it's still too fresh and scary...

Right, you had me worried for a moment there :) Though the image of a human with a monkey is less awesome than a rabbit carrying a rabbit.

Monkeys will always be more awesome than anything ever with the possible exception of platypi.
