That would only *encourage* some from CG if I recall correctly. :P

I'm going to India in November on a quest which may be too interesting to return from, and I'm thinking I should spend the time until then chronicling my life outside of Keenspace (wait :eyebrow: ok so I've been gone for too long) because the entertainment value of this time is not to be squandered.

But my cartooning skills have deteriorated from what was already facepalm to something that cannot be described without beating the linguistic twice-dead horse of lovecraftian gorn exaggeration.

What do I do?

Why, you keep drawing, of course! Even when your drawings make you cringe! Make them, then wad them up and pretend they never existed, but at least make them!

And I'm late to this party, but I'll just say - I really miss my good friend who helped me with my old site design in 2000 and even had his own comic...

...But he stopped talking to me when he got a girlfriend.

I'm shy, too, and I was fairly nervous about the few times I've met Internet People in real life, although I remember those situations as ultimately being really fun. It probably wasn't very cool, though, to tell that one guy I'd "definitely, totally send him those pages when I get home," unless "when I get home" means, like, "in six months."
I love Widdershins Komi, it is on my regular reading list.
Oh, yeah, I forgot to read Widdershins! Maybe I'll have time this week.

By "read" I meant "read and review," since I have about zero time left at work for casual webcomic reading, and when I'm at home I only read print comics.

I had a skype chat with Rusty Knight and CorpAmis today. They're both alive and shiny.
We used to roll a die and decide the conversation's subject depending on the result.

I can't imagine not being nervous before meeting people I know online. I'm not shy thought, I'm introvert but not shy.

What do I do?
Assemble a ragtag team of cartoonist friends and make everyone draw a page?
