Completely ignoring the fact that I have homework to do makes me happy! : D

Does anybody else see Irate John under the V in that guy's sig? XD XD

Our happiness is also procrastination-based: we are lounging in bed and hanging out here instead of getting ready for work (where we need to be in about half an hour). :D :D
You're just jealous because you can't get away with speaking in the third person...

Reckless Youth updated earlier this month... or did you mean from the beginning?

Oh wow, you're right! It's been so long I stopped checking.

But yeah, from the beginning. It's been years.

Woah- those two could be brothers! XD The Boss (that's my guy) would totally threaten to eat your face too.

Oddly enough, actually doing my homework today is what made me the happiest. Go fig.

I wish I could share the sentiment :( This essay is dripping out like slowest molasses. I hate word count requirements :x

Bleh I've been through that! D: Funny how you can love writing and dread essays at the same time.

Got some possible T-Shirt design work! :D

Though the email was poorly worded and I haven't heard back from the guy yet since I replied to him so, probably not legit. But keeping my fingers crossed! 8-)

Did he need your bank details so he could transfer a small fortune to it from an overseas account?

My branch manager signed me up for the Support Operations Course, Phase 2 for when I'm done with my Captain's Course here. I'm doing the phase 1 training right now online, and the course is here at the same post. Army saves money cause I'm already here and I get to take a course that goes on my record and makes me look awesome!!

Still no word on where I'm going next, but that should be coming soon.

Got a local election flyer today from UKIP (UK independence party) it reads:
"What caused Newcastle Borough [Where I live] to be short of money? The banks? New Labour [The government in power before the current one]? The euro?"
I wanted to open it up and find the word:
"ZOMBIES!"
but alas.

Still my own brain made me chuckle.

My old unit just took first place at the Department of the Army level of competition for the Deployment Excellence Award, and I was the person who put together the award packet. We are officially the best unit in the Army for deployment support.

I spent, like, $70 on comics at FCBD today. FUCK YEAH!

Let's see, what've I got in my bags...

- The Best of The Spirit, by Will Eisner
- Pussey!, by Daniel Clowes
- A TPB of Gil Kane superhero stuff
- The Walking Dead TPB #8
- Some weird-looking comic called Prison Pit
- One of those miniature Thor TPBs
- Tank Girl TPB #2
- Some Iron Man comic from 1970 that originally cost only 15 cents
- A packet of 100 comic sleeves I got for my eBay auctions
- Some comic called Fanboys vs. Zombies I got for a buck
- Some random single issues, and a buncha free comics

Oh, and I got to see The Avengers last night!
