What are you doing for New Year's?

Post by VeryCuddlyCornpone »

For the first time in CHISTORY I have what you could call real plans! In years past, we would sometimes go to a neighbor's house, sometimes stay home. This year, though, I am off to the great land of Another Town, to spend it with some college and some home friends. I'm probably a little more paranoid than I need to be about getting killed by a drunk driver on the way there, so, I guess I'll cross my fingers or something.

It's a nice change from last year when I had a bad stomach flu and had spent the past two or three days sitting in front of the TV, and by the time midnight came around it was only my sister and I still awake for it.

And I've made up my resolutions a few days early. It's not so much that I intend on seriously trying to keep them, but it's fun to look back at year's end to see which ones I accomplished and which ones I forgot entirely. (I managed about half of the 2011 list, which is a bit under par for me normally)

What about you chicklets

We'll be on the city square, out of laziness to make plans. We may run into some friends, seeing as this seems to be the didn't-make-plans year overall. So that might even be interesting. We'll be going to Vienna a few days after our christmas anyway, that's what I'm looking forward.

So point in making special resolutions for New Years, since I make resolutions every single day.

Mrs. Bunny and I will likely stay home and ring in the new year there. In the past we'd get together with friends, but seems the party opportunities have started drying up recently. Last year we tried to ring in the new year at a local favorite bar & grill but she started to get tired, so we left and celebrated at home. This year we're still not sure. A friend's band (You, You're Awesome) is playing at a local bar, but we're pretty much broke until next weekend. No one seems to be having a party otherwise, so we might just have a very sedate and intimate NYE.

Living in the past, all of you (except RobboAKAScooby - hooray for same timezones!)! I have no plans for New Year's. It's a year away again already. :)

I'm comforted to know you'll be first to die in the coming nuclear holocaust.

Anyway, Rock Band, booze, pizza, Scott Pilgrim, and a large picture window in a high rise overlooking this goddamn gorgeous city in room owned by a person who is much better than I am.

A bit late to reply, but i've been nearly internetless 'till now.
My New Years Eve we organized a murder party set in 18th century Russia. Kinda fun, tho the assassin managed to get away.
